I very much appreciate the amount of research you put into all of your work. Just looking at them, I can tell that you've selected a number of different, specific species from tortoises to a baby snapper. Very well done.
Have you ever seen a box turtle? They're pretty amazing.
Anyhow, on a technical point: when you put in lineweight do you draw it over the top or do you add it as you draw? I remember in LifeDrawing Kohan yelling at the class for drawing the lineweight o'er top.

My sis and I used to catch lil' boxies all the time. They can be a variety of colors, and aren't as agressive as snappers (lucky for us), so we thought they were the bees knees, so to speak.
As for lineweight, I kinda draw in that fashion, but I definetly add stuff over the sketches; since I tend to work in really scratchy lines, it doesn't seem to matter much either way.

The fifth or so from the bottom looks like Spike, from Land Before time.
I am also impressed with how different each turtle looks in general.

You never realize just how much a turtle's head and neck resembles a penis until you've draw it half a dozen times.
