He's too small to breathe fire and he's not in the least bit xenophobic, but yes, his name was inspired by that Flight of the Conchords song, because I happen to like how it sounds. Also I stuck an E on the end, because I happen to like how it looks. So there.I'm greatly fond of diminutive lizards (there's just something about their quiet, watchful inscrutableness that I find endearing; also the mildly ungainly yet exactingly deliberate fashion in which they clamber along narrow branches), and would invite one to stay in my house if only I had the funds to turn the spare bedroom into a miniature desert/rainforest (delete as applicable) environment complete with big flat rocks to hide under and narrow branches to clamber along and some sort of sun simulation/temperature regulation device in the ceiling and a cricket dispenser. Sadly such funds are unavailable to me, but there's nothing to stop me drawing a tiny gecko to keep for my very own, so here he is.
Albie is a resident of the Apeman and Monkeyboy universe, but to reveal much more at this stage would be rather giving the game away. All I can say is that he's destined to become caught up in curious sciencey shenanigans, and that I love the wee fellow to bits. Bless his little hand-feet.

His feet and hands are the perkiest I've ever seen. Even his expression automatically makes me wanna buy some special food to enlarge this lizard so I can hug him whenever I feel sad and in need of some company<

Regarding computerised arty tools, the only thing I use presently is Photoshop. My initial lines are doodled with a standard HB propelling pencil; I then ink the piece with a black Piltot C-Tec (my pen of choice) and scan the final inked lines into my lovely Mac as a pure black-and-white bitmap image (thus ensuring the lines remain perfectly pin-sharp). I then add basic flat colours with the "Paint Bucket" tool (a practice which I understand is frowned upon by most professional arty types, but I'm just a bumbling amateur so that's all right then), and add cel-shading (and/or highlighting) with the aid of the "Layers" function and a humble mouse. I ought probably to purchase a tablet one of these days, but I can never quite seem to get round to it.

Wow that's amazing the only thing i use is Paint tool sai and an ordenary pecil. I just need to get better at coloring them. But about that that oragotang and the gorilla did you want me to fill in the lines for you so you could color it ?
