I haven't posted anything in forever. This did not deserve to be finished, it looks nothing like my dog. But I'm thinking of maybe offering commissions like this- pet portrait badge type things so, thought I should see if that sort of thing would be well received. Way out of practice with my art still it seems. God diggity.I dunno. I can't draw. Don't look at me.

If by "broadcasting", you mean "live blogging"- posting commentary on my tumblr, then... I'm actually not sure if I will. I think so but now that I've gotten Kaylink into the series, I wouldn't want to spoil it for her if she misses an episode. But I probably will. We'll just have to see I guess. x3

I just like asking people stuff about TWD. I love getting different viewpoints!

I... I don't think I could pick a season. x3 I love all three all for different reasons. I think Season 3 was the most tense and crazy and just on the edge of my seat the whole time, but given that my precious babbu to end all precious babbus is Shane, I can't choose a season that doesn't even have him in it, you know? I really loved to watch him slowly descend into madness during Season 2, he just really had some of the most awesome character development and then deconstruction I'd ever seen. But I also liked Andrea (before she became a retard in Season 3). I liked how she was able to mess things up in a believable sort of way, she never made the common mistakes, always really weird ones that none of the viewers would generally think of, or I didn't think of at least. I really appreciate that kind of clever character design.
When she asked "where's shane" in that one episode in Season 3 man... I wanted to quit my life.

Daryl is overrated in my opinion.
Shane is probably my favorite male character if not my favorite character. Female would probably be Carol or Andrea. Carol just seems sooo realistic in all aspects. Creating such a diverse Television Series like TWD is probably a challenge to have realistic characters. There most likely so tempted to make super hero characters that show no pain, nor weakness. But Carol I feel has that with a realistic viewpoint. I always see Daryl running around with his crossbow and think man, would a guy really do that? So in certain aspects I find that Daryl is a bit super-human. Idk my opinion. I still think the character is amusing to watch as well as Merle. But in the same way if the TV series only focused on weaklings, it wouldn't be fun to watch. So they have to focus on some strong people. You described it perfectly when you said he completely unraveled. I think Robert Kirkman is an amazing graphic novel creator and they stuck mostly to what he has written so I think that is also another reason why he was amazing. The decisions Shane made, like killing the Walkers in the barn, was a good idea. What if the walkers busted out one night and had a feast on the group? It was dangerous! So it was good that he eliminated the threat of the walkers. But the way they had him go about it was completely irrational making you hate him for doing it. But it reality, Hershel DID think that they were still human. So I have mixed emotions on that. Plus bringing two more? Psh.
I have heard rumors that Glenn Mazzara made Andrea go wacko because he didn't like Laurie in real life. Not sure if this is true, but it has certain hints.
Why would they completely shatter such a well done character? Andrea in the comics (have you read them? Idk. XD) was a great asset and I just dont know why they would screw with her. :/ That was disappointing in my eyes.
Its so funny cause all my friends cry there eyes out when characters like them die. And Im sitting on my sofa with my hand on my chin going "Wow. That was an amazing way to end that characters life." I just cant seem to react with much emotion to fake people dying. Maybe I almost cried a bit when Carl was crying. Maybe not. ;D
But when I was seven or eight, and saw Luke Skywalkers Aunt and Uncle burning in the fire I thought that was the scariest thing this world could produce. lol. Didnt know about TWD yet.

I do like Daryl, but read that as "I like to oogle Norman Reedus and those fucking ridiculous arms because I am a woman and hot dayum boi". I really do like how he has evolved over the seasons and all- I hardly even noticed him in Season 1, but here were are Season 3 and he's a main character. He's gone through a lot of really moving character developement and it's a really nice story they're telling of two angry, rude, ill-mannered, antagonistic boys and one chooses to stay in that life, in that filthy rotten lifestyle and one chooses not to. It's a really nice symbol of choice, of personal control and independence, a story that does not get told often enough. But he is definitely being destroyed by the hordes of rabid fangirls that just want to have sex with him. It really is a shame. I'll always choose Shane first, and then maybe Glenn. x3
I do also really like Carol. She too has had a great evolution, from being meek and soft-spoken, afraid of everything, to just kicking ass and taking names and telling bitches to fuck their enemies and then kill them in the afterglow, she is a bad mamma jamma. x3
Ah let's be honest. This is a fabulous show with fabulous characters, everybody is so perf and beautiful and may it never end, the end.
Except for Lori. She can go to hell. Absolutely awful character, possibly the worst I've ever seen. Not that she wasn't realistic or anything, but jesus. Every time she and Shane were in the same shot I just wanted to leave the room. DON'T TALK TO HER BOY SHE BAD NEWS. But he did and then she blamed him for everything and he was just like 'but but but...' and I just...
And I feel bad for hating her character so much because her actress is adorbs. x3

Norman Reedus is flipping awesome. I watched Boondock Saints just because of him. XD (but turns out it was pretty cool) I believe the reason for him turning into a main is because of people like you and I. The audience loved that smokin hot mun. If you notice in the beginning credits of Season 1, he wasnt even in the main Opening Credits. He wasnt planned as anything main. Just a back-up character. Now he is.
Lol on a random note, I have a funny-wierd attachment to Merle and Daryl because my family has some rednecks in it. XD
Yes. TWD is the best show made. EVER. But Lori is terrible. I like Sarah as an actress, but Lori is a terrible fucking woman. In Tell in to the Frogs, she yells at Shane for talking to Carl and she's all like "Fuck off." And then in What lies ahead, Shane ignores carl about the arsenal set, and she is all like "Why in the hell did you blow him off." And then when he tries to defend himself she is all "REMEMBER YOUR MOMENT IN THE CDC" Lori is a dumb woman. Andrea is trying to help the group patrol, and search for Sophia and Lori is all worried that her an Carol have to many vegetables to chop.
Sarah is an AWESOME actress! I also watched Prison Break, just because of her, but turns out that is another GREAT Tv show. If you haven't watched it I recommend it completely! I thought it would be a drag of a TV show to just watch Sarah but turns out its pretty awesome as well.

YES YES OMG when she was like ANDREA Y U NO DO LAUNDRY, I could've crawled into my tv and choked the bitch. Forget that it's the god dammed zombie apocalypse for a sec, its the mother fucking 21st century. We are a little old for gender roles you spineless little.... Hng. Ugh, I thought I'd be so happy when she finally died. Curse the writers and actors in this show though for making that death scene so upsetting. Carl had just started learning to be a baller and everything, and then that happens and it's just, oh you poor thing. Your mother was as intelligent as a sack of bricks, but that wasn't your fault, why this. And then Rick's reaction afterward. He literally melted, literally, the full on personification of I QUIT. Nothing makes me feel for a character like watching them descend into madness.
I wonder if he thought of Shane at all during his long running moments of crazy. If they correlate the two in any way in the show, it will be the end of me.

God why he was such a great character. He and Andrea were gonna ride off into the sunset, it could've been the world's greatest, most sassy, spin-off show. Why could we not has?

Yeah sorry about that. If I'm going to be honest, I couldn't draw for about three months there because I was put on Lithium by a new psychiatrist and it literally completely decimated my ability to draw- not in a "oh I have no ideas" kind of way but literally a mental wall that every time I put a pencil to a piece of paper my mind would freeze and reel backward like I was about to do something painful. I literally could not get a drawing out without fighting myself for an hour.
So it's taken this long for us to switch medications and for the lithium to drain from my system. ^^ Should've made a journal about it but I don't like sounding like I'm using my disorder as an excuse for anything. But I also don't like disappearing for a long time like that without any sort of explanation. So that's where I've been. Should be able to draw regularly now, though I'm almost scared of my work now, knowing what it's like to be separated from it for so long. Still got some kinks to smoothe out here.
