The Assignment:Make an 8.5"x11" poster for a "political cause". Use Illustrator and Photoshop.
The poster is for 'The Venus Project', which presents a new way of life for all of the world. One that uses a resource-based economy vs. the current monetary-based economy. Eliminating money as the main influence in our society will get us back to our human roots, where love, happiness, and creativity were the main priorities. > [link]

As someone who loved The Venus Project, I think this is great artwork, but it gives me a weird and discomforting feeling about the project.
Some other people online (elsewhere) have also commented on how this artwork looks like old propaganda artwork, and it kinda gives you that socialist / Illuminati feeling.

I see where you're coming from with the discomforting feeling. This was done to have more of a propaganda feel to it. As much as it is a supporting piece for the great idea that is The Venus Project, it's also a personal project and has elements of the styles I like to design with.
Having said that, I still mean to revisit this poster and redesign it from the ground up. At this point, it's only an 8.5"x11" poster (not much of a poster at all, haha!). This was done in a few days and I know I could do the meaning of the movement justice with a proper amount of time.

Great work! While I have found quite a bit of Zeitgeist Movement related art on here, I have only found this piece where the Venus Project is represented. I sure wish that there were other artists tackling this subject matter as you have done. Do you or does anyone know of other resources for Venus Project-related artwork?

if I wouldn't know about the project I would have said those free building are nuclear power plants and the poster was made in 1967 or so.. 
( you got to admit it has a classical feel to it) anyway nice job supporting the movement and hope you'll do more artworks and such

I definitely didn't take this from anyone. I used source photography and concept art as a basis for my design, but everything was created by me. Please, check your facts before you start to making bogus allegations.
You label me a communist. I tend to think I'm open minded to new ideas. No one said this is THE end-all be-all solution to the world's VAST amount of problems. It's a solution none the less, so why don't you learn from it and take what you think applies to YOUR best solution (or are you just waiting for someone else to solve these problems for you?)?
The only solution is if everyone that is as quick to judge (like you were) learns to question everything and take all solutions into consideration (even communism *gasp!*). It's too easy for you to do otherwise. It's actually just lazy (I guess just as lazy as taking existing artwork and photoshopping your name into it... not naming anyone in particular).

Great art. Great concept. Great cause. Amazing movies. I've also seen Money Masters on Google Videos yesterday and it proves a lot of the banking control on the world... and it was done in 1995! Hope to see this brave new world come to fruition in my lifetime also.

Yea Zeitgeist 1 and 2 are pretttty crazy. It's really not too far fetched though. It's sad that people have so little faith in what the Human race can do.
