Description
Here’s an original character of mine: Ismay the Hyenacorn! I first doodled this little guy on a science assignment way back in sixth grade, and since then he’s become one of my most important OCs despite never talking except through his notes. Although he’s currently fictional, I’d like to make a version of him in real life at some point so he can steal my cookies for real haha

I used a fancy cursive font for the text to emulate the little notes he leaves for people. These notes are always in cursive (no matter the language - he’s even managed to pull off cursive Korean!) and always written in indigo pen; he signs them all with love, Ismay. Sometimes, that’s all the notes say, relying on context to make sense. However, because cursive can be hard to read, here’s a transcript of what I wrote:

*Stuffed animal (spotted hyenacorn)
*Medium-sized; can fit nicely on a person’s head
*Stiff construction, soft fabrics
*Loves chocolate chip cookies
*Leaves cursive notes signed “love, Ismay”
*Mischievous
*Moves when nobody is looking
*Possesses reality-warping powers

Here’s some general Ismay lore:
-Stuffed animal (spotted hyenacorn)
-Possesses reality-warping powers, although no one knows the true extent of said powers
-Loves chocolate chip cookies and will steal them if left unattended; Ismay-proof cookie jars are a necessity (but sometimes they need to be upgraded because he’ll figure out how to get in anyway given enough time)
-Generally mischievous, but never malicious
-Moves only when nobody is looking, unless the motion is facilitated by an outside force (e.g. gravity). Even looking away for a second can be enough for him to disappear entirely
-Has been known to “warp“ from one location to another; for example, if he falls into the ocean he’ll usually end up back home, perfectly clean and dry, while if a person throws him out of the room he might fall from the ceiling above them
-Owns a hot pink plastic Barbie car with the seats taken out so he can be wedged inside. His name is written in rhinestones on each side and the car drives around under its own power while he’s in it despite it lacking any sort of propulsion method or even a steering wheel
-Usually hangs out with his best friend, Gary the Giraffe
-Yes, he was named after J. Bruce Ismay, former chairman of the White Star Line. I don’t remember what prompted me to make that decision though
