Well, this is it - the last post of the year! Olympic’s profile picture is complete; here she is in all her stripey glory.

A few notes:
-This piece’s title comes from Through the Long Night by Billy Joel, as it reminds me of Olympic and her relationships with her loved ones, especially Titanic.
-As I mentioned earlier today, Olympic now has earrings! They match Titanic’s star ones, but in this case they’re pearls instead so as to match that lovely pearl necklace.
-I finally added proper detail to the dazzle coat! It now has epaulettes, like a proper trenchcoat should. I thought of adding sleeve straps as well, but decided against it for aesthetic reasons.
-Huge thanks to NorthaDawn for telling me how to shade the dazzle! I had a much easier time than I did in my last Olympic drawing, in which I shaded each individual color panel separately like an utter buffoon.
-Both her hands are in her pockets because I’ll take any opportunity I can get to avoid drawing hands.
-The pattern behind her is a set of zigzags meant to resemble her dazzle camouflage.
Update 5/1/23: Made her eyes a bit smaller to give her a more mature look compared to her sisters; made her makeup slightly heavier for the same reason. Tilted her eyebrows slighty for a fiercer look.
Update 5/16/23: Sharpened a couple lines that got a bit blurred when I adjusted her eyes.
Update 10/16/23: Made her upper arm wider to reflect both her muscles and the thickness of her coat. Improved the coat shading slightly. Fixed some minor issues with the lineart and coloring.
