A gift for ~firenanaki , the Johan to my Misawa, lover of toast and teacher's pet extraordinaire
You would think toast was easy to draw. IT'S NOT >< And the difficulty increases exponentially as the amount of toast increases because it gets so fiddly. But she's worth it ^^
I hereby move that, if no other name already exists, the Misawa/Johan ship be named Toastshipping. ~firenanaki will second the motion

Jesse is one character I did not expect to ever see you draw, but he does look really sparkly and nice in your style. The eyes of pure joy are the win! And I just love how Bastian completely contrasts with his logical look of "Why am I covered in a pile of toast? Won't this make my clothes sticky?" Toast is not for logic though Bastian, toast is for wonder!

I know I wouldn't normally draw Jesse, because he's a tool, but ~firenanaki 's crack!Johan is awesome--he's a very loyal maths student, even if he doesn't do his homework and gets his grades by, er, sucking up to the teacher >.> I still sort of fail at expressions because if you cover up one half of Bastian's face at a time, he has two completely different expressions going on XD But thanks

They hang a slice of toast on the door when they don't want to be disturbed XD That's the thing about Jesse, he's loveable enough, but he's the biggest Stu in the show--and this is a show where the main character(s) are UNDEFEATABLE in their card games. That's saying something. Ahahaha, I didn't think of it that way--which half, though?

How do they do that, by shoving the middle of the toast through the door knob? XD Yeah there is that. Jaden was a pretty big Gary-Stu on his own (no offense to him) so making a character just like him but with more Stu qualities was just asking for it. The half that isn't looking worried. XP Well in that case they're no missing out. ^_^
