My half of an art trade with that awesome girl, *SamCyberCat . She asked for Zane and Bastian from Yu-Gi-Oh GX, so this is what I came up with.Bastian has asked to borrow Zane's notes, for study purposes. Did he really need them, or was it an excuse? And why is Zane making "bedroom" eyes at him? (Answer: because I drew their expressions that way by accident, and kept them
)The hands look very clumsy--because I didn't use a reference--but I'm pleased. Because I got to draw Bastian, and he is delightful to draw. His hair isn't all weird like Zane's.

It's so adorable that I feel bad my half wasn't this adorable. 
What really gets me though is that you've used the pattern of a sheet of lined paper in the background. ^_^ It's simple yet it seems to work so well.

And I'm glad you like Bastian's hair because... It was a mistake which I didn't even notice until now o.O Where did all that black come from? I didn't notice it because of my stupid monitor. Oh well, I guess it stays XD And, yeah, I know we've been spelling it wrong... I do it on purpose because I just like it better that way too
Zane thinks he's so great. No one's allowed to approach him, but he'll quite happily molest Bastian who's "just trying to study" (sure, Bastian, sure... XD)
And on an unrelated note... You know what you did to me? You made me have a dream that I was at high school and was going to be given a sex ed test XD

At least I'm not one of those people who draws a grey streak in his hair. And it does sound more distinguished, you're right. Plus, he's the only one that got named after an actual word; everyone else got a real name or a made up word.

Well, I never got around to the part where I did the test! It was announced, and I just thought "pff, I don't even need to study, I've done this already". Then I went and joined the soccer team. I think Alexis was the captain, because this was a GX dream as well XD I was a shitty soccer player, but I only joined to impress Bastian.

It was a pretty stupid exam. The soccer was some kind of Anime-style Ultra Soccer, because people appeared to be fighting with weapons and stuff o.O I took out a pair of players from the other team with some kind of cool kamikaze attack. I hope that impressed Bastian because I was knocked out (which meant I woke up XD)

As far as I can tell, just about all Japanese names mean something. Which is cool, but you can't do that in English--you can't name someone Teenager XD

I just decided that everyone thinks Crowler is the paedophile because he looks so much like one, but in actual fact he's the only teacher who isn't a paedo and the others are using that he looks so much like one to have their way with the students and not get in trouble with the police. I like Brock and his eyes, but somehow poking fun at them is entertaining. ^^ Speaking of Pokemon I'm starting to like the new dubbers more since they include more obvious gay lines where Harley's concerned. At the beginning of one episode I saw he was pretty much hitting on Brock (though unfortunately I can't remember what he said...) and at the end there was this bit:
