I have to admit I was channeling the Tall Tales Trilogy (or whatever I named it, shit that was a long time ago) when I drew this. I just imagine that if the C in Johnny C. stood for Casil and he’d lived to be an actual big brother (fyi he doesn’t in the fic) he’d be pissed at the spectacle their parents make of themselves by fighting over their children in the front yard. And then he’d take Todd to pick up ice cream for Shmee too, cause the bear needs a fucking ice cream.

The art was a request someone made on Tumblr. I based it around a fic I wrote in my teens under the username Jynx's Box found here .
The series is composed of Little Red Letter, Never Forgive Me, and Spiderfly. It's a Johnny centric story. I stopped writing under that username when I started making and selling Jewelry under the same title.
