This was actually a commission I did for someone (with Xael's permission of course!), and once I drafted the script/comic I found I wasn't sure how to write Izzy into the scene without it getting too long. So she was considered but ultimately cut! I decided the "canon" reason she's not in this meeting is because she, being one of his top commanders, is still cleaning up the mess Chess made before she was caught. Maybe I should go back and change a line in the first page to reflect this...
Also, I'm mulling over doing a proper Izzy comic because I do consider those drawing you and Xael did canon, but I won't even draft that until I get my other projects done and PMD Evo back on track.
