Description Lindisfarne Castle on Holy Island in Northumberland. Holy Island is accessible only at low tide, twice daily, by a three mile long causeway, built in 1954. Holy Island was one of the principle centres of Christianity during the Dark Ages and was given to St Aidan in AD635 by the King of Northumbria. Even more famous and influential was St Cuthbert, whose life and teaching was a magnet for pilgrims. He died in AD 687 and was initially buried in the church, but later his remains were moved to Durham Cathedral.

great picture (again)! I love the birds in the big puddle in the foreground, it really gives a lot of life to the image (and a nice color juxtaposition).

The only thing that comes to mind is that the castle looks a bit pale on my screen, maybe you could dodge/burn (I always forgot which one is which, sorry, I have the German version of PS) the background a little to give it more contrast.

But, ah, Scotland... You're images really make me wanna hop on a boat and fly over...

Good

I just wish the sky had a bit more life in it, but you can't win them all.

yep No, first I wrote plane, but I couldn't find a plane-related smiley, changed it to boat, because the pirate fitted and then I forgot to change the boat-thing
On the other hand, would a hover boat count? Mmh...
I'll have a look at the picture now.
PS: Just came back from our walk, your assignment on my mind, I'll post it later, this is fun!
