I was going with a full painting but I didn't want to lose the pencils ( which I spent a lotta time on. . . ) So I left much of the pencils in and tried to mingle them with the paints

i know what you mean, except i don't paint. but i'll like how it's looking and i'm afraid i may ruin it when i start shading it. but yeah mostly, i just admire your style and your vision for batman, who is a god to me, and you capture him in a way that Ive never seen. i actually like it more than frank miller's batman. (O__O) damn straight, that's a huge compliment! (be grateful!!!!) just kidding. i'm no authority. but i really do like your vision for the bat.

oh and i tried to do something similar in pencil..........I'll scan it soon. not even close, but that's ok. i love batman, but i draw venom better.

I think the whole brush thing is a racket ( although , I haveta admit, sables are softer and more durable. . . still doesn’t justify the cost ) I rather paint with my fingers

I wish I can handle water-colors. . . Oils is so much easy to manipulate because it is slow drying

ah, i see! but yea, watercolor does seem to sink into paper faster. eitherway, your piece is just an awesome clash of colors and shades.

I spray the paper with protective. . . and water color would just slide off. . . but oils would stick
