I like this. The lighitng is very interesting, as well as the composition. Perhaps a larger DOF would have rendered the sharpness of the whole metal tip more interesting, as I am rather impressed on how sharp and crisp it is. Awesome how the focus ends where the plastic begins.

Don't let that crazy guy get to you Sniffah, he's just trying to drag you down. You got the DD all by yourself, which is more than most can say. Let the punk go - it's a good shot and caught alot of people's attention and thusly is totally worth a DD.

I don't see this as being fantastic.. but I do like it, and whoever said you stole the idea is retarded unless he considers that using a wide aperture or a macro lens/extension tube an artistic trademark. nice work though.
