Pencil and Dick-Blick drawing paper (9 x 12)Its just my social commentary on "Family Values."
Here you have a guy smoking a pipe, has a gun, and has some whiskey in one hand and a playboy in his pocket. The wife has a puritan outfit, has her hands behind her back and has her mouth taped shut. The child has his eyes and mouth taped shut. His hands and legs are chained. His shirt has a "no" symbol for a shirt logo.
I'll leave it to your fine intelligence to figure out the irony and satire.

We're still a "young family", but you know enough about me to know I'm no puritan and Greg's not the whiskey smoker type. And Piper? Well she can't speak yet but hopefully she won't end up like that kid. Frankly, I believe in spanking so if someone wants to come to our house and inspect it for child abuse they will have to go past all the toys and clothes and baby pictures and oh...the laughing baby. Sue me.

Yeah, we do. ITs set up so we protect the children from everything. We can't spank our kids...that's abuse. We can't hug and kiss our kids...that's abuse. We can't let them watch TV, movies, or play video games. They may kill someone. Under no circumstances should someone underage view the naked body...even though they can at least look at their own naked body. Age of consent for sex is 17 but it can't be photographed or filmed until they're 18. Taking a picture of your 3 year old taking a bath back in 1975 is enough to land someone in jail for C.P.
This society is currently administrated by the elderly who see the world differently than the next generation and the next after that.
ITs all messed up.
As for the role reversal, its some how genetically driven for a woman to be attracted to a male that has Youth, Power, and most importantly...wealth. So women will never completely trust men who are not "bread winners." Millions of years of evolution won't be so easily removed
