Description
Alright, the one a few have been waiting for. The patterns for the male are less complicated than the female patterns. Go figureThere is a section of major differences between male and female parts (other than the obvious) that cause distinction between genders.
I hope this tutorial helps.
So...any other Anatomy tutorial suggestions that might be helpful?
Update: Wow...a DD after....6 years of posting work! Awesome! It couldn't have happened to a better piece of work. I hope it enriches the skills of any and all who use them.

Great tutorial
Though, I'll admit, when I saw the bit about the navel, I checked mine; mine isn't "feminine"

thanks and don't worry, not every body fits into these molds.Β Think of these as more of a suggestion.Β A way to draw a character that has features that can assist in identifying it's gender.Β

I no longer have trouble drawing male butts. I just image two faces squashed together and once I'm done laughing its so much easier to draw! ...not that I spend all my time drawing male behinds... er... ...... t-thank you for the post... it was most helpful.

I'll never understand why, but guys seem to always be "contracting" their butts or something Β

Amazing how much a little basic anatomy can help make a good picture, or sculpture. Of course, I don't have to worry about perspective and foreshortening -- I just have to get the anatomy right 360 degrees around!
Of course, once you know the rules, you're free to bend or break them, but starting from a reference like this helps. Some of my pieces I intentionally go a little abstract, but even then, it's important to understand the proportions you are twisting...
Thanks!

Any tips on how to draw males with less muscle and in a more androgynous form without loosing the male completely in it? What are the most essential differences, besides muscle tone?
And love this tutorial, always had problems with males, females seemt to come to me more naturally
