Wacom Intuos2 9 x 16 and Photoshop CS2.suggested I include 'HAKU' from the naruto series into my Naruto realism series. To test it, here is a quick sketch with a bit of flair and soft color. Took about an hour.

BTW: I get my new scanner next week. SOOOO......HAPPY!

Haku for some reason really looks like a girl in this pic...Kishimoto-sensei really screwed up making Haku a guy......though he probably didn't want the responding backlash when Kakashi rammed his lightning blade through haku's chest..

I found that to be hard too. I've tried sketching in photoshop, but It's just so hard to get any lines or details I like. I just do pencil sketches then scan them in.
I have noticed that if you put a piece of paper over the tablet and draw on that, then the pen doesn't slip as much.

Well, my previous Epson was dying to the point where it took 15 hours to scan. So I got an HP. I found that the HP was not only the worst scanner I'd have used, but it said it had a feature that it couldn't actually used (Verified by thier techsupport and engineers). SO....I sent that scanner packing and now the rela replacement comes. It;s another Epson. A 4490. It should be a worthy enough replacement for my old 1660 Perfection. May it rest in peice.....

No problem. I've wanted to see what he looked like in realism for a long time and all my efforts turned out horribly. So I didn't mind shoving it off on a more talented artist.
