Staedtler Mars Lumograph Pencils on Strathmore Vellum board 9 x 12.This is a pencil drawing I need as a sample for my Drawing Instruction class I am doing.
I used 2 peices of reference.
First is CypherX where I used her eyes a bit of her nose and mouth. And a picture of the Mona Lisa that hangs by my computer. I of course changed things around to suit the image.
After looking at it, I think I made the nose too small and forhead too big. Oh well. I still like it though

Something about her eyes and lips always make me smile like an idiot whenever I look at her. Therefore I really love this picture. Definitely a moodlifter

THanks! Funny thing actually...I did this as an 'example' peice for the drawing class I teach at Micheal's. One of the girls that work there saw it and asked me if I had tried to draw her. She is incredibly vain

looks good.i think the face i excellent and the forhead and nose fit together rather well.
one thing that throws me off and i just may be looking at it wrong is the neck area.the way her had is placed almost looks like she is looking over her shoulder at you but her chest is pointing forwards.idk, prolly just me.
regardless its an awesome piece of work.

I don't think its you. I think you are right. The neck doesn't properly align. I tink the clavical messes it up. It was correct in my sketch, but it was lost when I started changing things. Dunno what happen really

Thanks much! I had actually planned to work on the hair more. Make some areas darker...create more highlights...but I ran out of time.
