I thought one other Cannon character would do nicely, & Swoop's a fairly decent bloke > [link] & for my take on him I gave him a more upbeat and 'civilized' look as appose to the grunge look.

SWOOP

Probably the only member of the Dinobots who’s not a complete aft; Swoop is actually a pretty tolerable bot (to an extent); friendly, social, kind and good natured, he always see’s the energon cube half full, and is probably the only Dinobot who enjoys socializing with other bots and humans. Since coming to earth, he likes to work hard and play hard; when on the battle field he likes to put the fear of Primus in his enemies, attacking fast and hard he’ll either chase his prey and cut them down with his lazar-blade wing tips, or bombard them with a volley of energon-stinger missiles and ion-plasma tipped bullets. But away from the fighting, he’ll look for any excuse for a good time; i.e. raving to human music, chasing fighter jets, energon pong, bird-dogging spark-bonded femmes, pranking, trolling, getting kicks out of Red Alert’s paranoia glitch, and basically just getting up to no good. Love him or loath him, he certainly knows how to make an impression, and unlike the other Dinobots (bar Leviathan), he doesn’t like to take his fun too far that someone ends up getting hurt, and if someone does, he’ll end up feeling guilty about it. More often than not he tends to be the voice of reason for the other more dim-witted and violence-prone Dinobots, and will always be there to lend some reasonable, upbeat advice for his leader Grimlock.

Swoops altmode is based on the Pteranodon, not a dinosaur but actually a flying lizard; at 6ft long with a wingspan of over 25ft wide, these giant flyers resided in the late Cretaceous, and are well noted for their skull crests. Fossil evidence shows that males had twice as many blood vessels in their crests compared to the females; leading many experts to suggest that they used their crests as part of their mating displays, possibly even changing colour in order to attract a potential mate. Their long beaks were modified for scooping up fish, squid and other small marine creatures, suggesting that they lived around the coast, possibly in large colonies, or were nomadic and only congregated to mate at certain times of the year. At over 10ft long with a wingspan of over 45ft across, Swoop is both an impressive and terrifying sight; his lazar-blade wing tips can heat up to over 5000 degrees and cut through Cybertanium-based alloys with ease, he sports both missile launchers and wing-mounted fully automatic machine guns, and his talons and tail blades can cause a fair amount of damage. He can cruise at speeds of anywhere between 120 to 370 mph, and specializes in low-altitude flight, his front-swept wing design allows him a great deal of manoeuvrability, enabling him to move in between obstacles and over alternating terrain efficiently to keep up with ground-based Decepticons.
