Thanks to Lumen-Melano here [link] i can now present to you the solution to the MS Office bug some people encountered. Here's what Lumen-Melano wrote:
Right click anywhere on the desktop and click personalise.
Make sure you have selected one of the Static themes as your current theme.
Click on "Window Color" at the buttom of the window.
Then click "Advanced appearance settings".
Then on the new window find 3D Objects in the dropdown menu under "Item:"
Then just make sure that both "Color 1" and "Color" are white.
Click OK and Save Changes and you should be done.

Sure! It's connected to the explorerframe.dll or replacing dlls in general...
Take a look here, i once had the same problem and asked for help: [link]
The solution is in the comments, try the sfc/scannow command:
"start > run > cmd > type sfc /scannow and let it scan, it will fix all the files that are incorrect. However once it's done you will have to run the uxtheme patcher again."
I'm glad you like it!

MiaDDLover, I have the same problem that you've driscribed at your first comment. So, for who couldn't understand what he/she said, when he/she installs the theme, the windows goes to classical theme.

You probably didn't disable the UAC?
This sometimes protects the system files, check out this tutorial here: [link]
Glad you like it!

well..im not using any antivirus at all I know, its stupid.
Anyway, I can't delete or move to anywhere my original ExplorerFrame.dll from system32. It gives me an error. All I can do, is rename it. So I renamed it to "ExplorerFrame.dll.bak", and then i copied your ExplorerFrame.dll (64bit) to my system32. But after that... I still cant delete or move my buckup file (ExplorerFrame.dll.bak), but I can do it with "your" file. For me, it seems that my Windows still using the original ExplorerFrame.dll. I dont know why and what to do ;/
Ive turned off UAC, gave all privileges and also using the "Take ownership" utility.

I think I still dont have full administrative privileges. It seems that "Take ownership" utility dont work for me. I also tried with Microsoft Management Console (MMC) (found that solution somwhere in polish internet) but it didn't help either.

awesome! Been using it for months now . Quick question--suppose I wanted to change the color of the box created by click and dragging on the desktop, as well as hovering over items on the taskbar. Where would I find that?

thanks for permission and i like your glossy icons , i think we can combine that with next level theme and make a glossy skin pack , whats you think?!

snipes2 In reply to hameddanger [2012-02-02 10:36:10 +0000 UTC]
Sure!
I'm not familiar with icon packs though...
I've used a creative commons license, so you can use whatever you want as long as you give credit
I think would be great to have a combined package, "nextl level- glossy icons"! Let me know if you need additional icons!

Hi! I absolutely LOVE what you have created! I am currently using your Static Polished theme and I am over the moon about it.
There is one problem though, I really hope you can help me. You know the Command Bar (a.k.a. FolderBand) in Windows Explorer? The one that gives you options like "Organize", "View", "Print", etc. below the Menu Bar? When I apply your theme, it disappears. I tend to use it a lot, but with it being absent, I'm finding it very uncomfortable. I noticed that your Static 2.0 features the Command Bar, but I still prefer Static Polished 1.0.
Is there anything I can do to enable the Command Bar? I've already tried Google, but couldn't find anything...
I would love to get your reply some time soon.

Hey, thanks a lot!
I'm glad you like my Visual Style!
There is an easy way to enable the folder band:
Go to your "/Themes"-directory and copy the "en-US"-folder(or whatever OS language you are using) and "Shell"-folder from your "/themes/Aero"-folder and replace the existing ones in the "static"-folder. You'll maybe have to restart your explorer/computer...
Unfortunately i didn't skin the entire folder band, it may still contain some aero images or appear buggy.
Hope that helps!
