Thanks to Lumen-Melano here [link] i can now present to you the solution to the MS Office bug some people encountered. Here's what Lumen-Melano wrote:
Right click anywhere on the desktop and click personalise.
Make sure you have selected one of the Static themes as your current theme.
Click on "Window Color" at the buttom of the window.
Then click "Advanced appearance settings".
Then on the new window find 3D Objects in the dropdown menu under "Item:"
Then just make sure that both "Color 1" and "Color" are white.
Click OK and Save Changes and you should be done.

Hello, I really liked your visual style. I have a question, though:
Is there any way to change the colors? I'd like to experiment with other colors. I'm really new to this stuff, though, so if you could give me some tips I'd be really grateful.
Or if it's kinda hard to do, could you do a re-release without green? I know it's a hassle to go that far, but I'd really thank you.

You would have to edit a lot of image file and replace them. Therefore you will need the restorator or Ave's Windows Style builder...

Yeah I'm using mango, quite pleased with it. I just wanted to know if there was an easy way to use my own color pallette, looks like it needs a lot of work

The only Problem is that it doesn't change my scrollbars complete. The 3 stripes of the default scrollbar stay active

To keep the metro look, i disabled tis feature, since it only supports rounded corners...
Unfortunately it is impossible to get it working wihh it :/

Your link for "windows visual style" doesn't seem to be working. I'm not sure how to install this, the files in the folder are different from most Skins I've seen.

However i don't see why this is different from most VSs...
If you've patched your system, copy the content of the "static visual style" folder to your c/resources/themes folder and double click on the .theme file you want to use.
As for the explorerframes, please refer to neiio's article, the instructions really are very detailed

I'm not entirely certain if anyone brought this up, however, I thought I might toss this into the mix! I saw and was quite enamored of this theme, and promptly installed it.
I'd like to say that it looks JUST as lovely on my monitor as it looks here! Congrats on that.
However, in making the attempt to replace the ExplorerFrame.dll files, I came up with a series of errors and an inability to restart my explorer.exe. This may, possibly, be due to the fact that I am running Windows 7 (x64) with Service Pack 1 installed, and the dlls may not be compatible with the service packs.
You may be aware of it, but on the off chance you're not and you might be moved to make an explorerframe.dll for users of SP1, it might be nice
Otherwise, cool theme!

thanks a lot for your comment, i'm really glad you like my work.
I'm using a x64 System with SP1, too , so the explorerframe should be compatible.
We can exclude the explorer.exe itself from the problem, too, since i only uploaded an explorer.exe-bitmap file.
I really think your problem is connected with a wrong version of the explorerframe. You'll notice that i included two different explorerframes. One for x32 and one for x64 systems. You only need to replace your explorerframe in your c/windows/system32-folder with the 64x version of my visual style.
Mae sure the explorerframe you want to use really is in your system32-folder and has the exact name "ExplorerFrame.dll". If yous system doesn'tdetect a x64 version of "ExplorerFrame.dll" in your system32-folder you won't be able to start the explorer.exe.
