It's been so long since I've really did any Somblestia fanart. Like this is my ship! OTP forever and always (You catch the reference?? ) So to make a great "comeback" of my favorite ship of MLP, here's some Somblestia "slice of life" segments I've gathered together for you.

Top:

"Stick close to me now Tia," came the sound of a calm and chestnut like voice. A grey unicorn with a long beard trotted along as a young filly went after him. She had flowing pink hair with beautiful violet-like eyes as she replied, "Coming Starswirl!" The unicorn smiled at the alicorn filly as they neared the entrance. "I want you to remember that while it may seem like we're home, this is entire different world from our own." he told her. "I know, I know!" she replied, "But this castle looks just like our castle back home!" "I know it does." Starswirl said as the doors to the castle opened. Guards stood at the entrance as a grey unicorn walked towards them. With a bushy mustache and sparkling blue eyes, he happily greeted them. "Starswirl my good companion!" the stallion said, "Always a pleasure to see you visit our world!" "And to you as well King Leoford," Starswirl returned the kind greeting. "We have much to discuss-" the King began before noticing the filly hiding behind Starswirl's coat. "Is this who I think it is?" he asked. Starswirl nodded as he said, "King Leoford, meet Princess Celestia. Young Luna is still too young to cross over." Leoford crouches down as he said, "So I finally get to meet the little lady herself." Celestia shies away as he said, "Greetings Princess Celestia, it is an honor to meet you." Celestia giggled as Leoford stood up saying, "Come now, there is much to discuss."

"I do say the young land of Equestria is shaping together quite well," Starswirl said, "Thanks to your suggestion, we were able to have enough food for winter." "It's no problem really," Leoford replied, "I remember the days of when food was scarrce for Canterlot." As the two stallions were in discussion, Celestia walked happily behind them, gazing at her surroundings. There were statues of ponies, to which Celestia could not recognize, and beautiful flowers. Suddenly a piar of birds swooped in front of the filly. "Oh hello!" she smiled. Chirping the two birds fluttered around her. Giggling Celestia watched as the two birds flew away. "Hey come back here!" Galloping after them and away from the adults, she went to catch up to her new friends. "I'm gonna get you!" she called. The birds tweeted as they led her to a beautiful pond. "Wow!" she said, gazing into the water. A reflection of herself appeared as she smiled, fluttering her wings slightly. "Such a pretty pond!" she said allowed. Her reflection rippled as a different one appeared. Instead of her pink flowing mane it was a styled black mane as he was looking up above. "Hey!" she said as she looked up to see the grey colt from the reflection. The grey colt looked to the filly as he said, "Hi." He looked back up as Celestia went beside him. "What are ya lookin at?" she asked with a smile. "Look." he said pointing. She looked up to see a tree and within that tree a sweet sight. It was a mama squirel as she was eating beside her little baby. "Aww that's so cute!" The colt smiled saying, "My name is Prince Sombra." "Really?" she said, "That's cool! My name is Princess Celestia." "Princess Celestia." Sombra said, "Nice to meet you m'lady." Celestia snorted, "Pff, m'lady? Your funny Sombra." Sombra gave a small smile as he got up. "It's a proper way to say hi to someone." he said, "That's what my father taught me." "It's very nice." Celestia replied. That's when a passing butterfly fluttered around the two kids. They flew around the two ponies as they began to laugh, the buttefly fluttering next to their ear. Soon the sound of hoofsteps could be heard as Leoford and Starswirl came to view. "There you are Tia!" Starswirl said, "I thought I told you to stay next to me." "Is that your Papa?" Sombra whispered. "Well sort of." Celestia replied. Leoford chuckled, "Well at least we found them and it appears she's already met with my son, Sombra." "That's your dad?" Celestia exclaimed. The unicorn nodded happily as Starswirl said, "Ah Prince Sombra, good to see you again." "Greetings Sir Starswirl the Bearded." Sombra bowed. Leoford ruffled his son's head as Starswirl said, "I'm glad I was able to see Sombra again and for Celestia to meet you finally. And now that I've found you it's time we get back home to Luna." "I understand, it's always a good time talking to you friend." Leoford said, "Let us walk you back than." As they headed back to the portal Celestia said, "Today was the most fun ever!" "It was fun." Sombra replied. As they arrived at the portal, Celestia said, "Bye Sombra, I can't wait to play again. Wait, we're friends, right?" "Yea!" Sombra agreed, excited for the newly formed friendship. "Yay!" she cheered as Starswirl said, "Come now Tia." "Farewell m'lady Princess Celestia!" Sombra said. Celestia smiled saying, "You've got a weird way saying things...I like you!" Sombra felt his face grow hot as Celestia gave a little curtsie saying, "Bye Sombra, can't wait to play again!" As the two ponies went through the portal Leoford brought his son to his side. "So my boy," he said, "What'd you think about the Princess?" "She's very nice!" Sombra gleamed, "And I'm glad that I'm her friend!"..............(A sort of homage to Part 1 of "When We Were Young AU www.deviantart.com/snoopy7c7/a…, updated version of how they met in that little AU)

Middle:
