Thanks to all who gave me feedback in my journal
. Most people wanted a CG tutorial, so I made one out of the Ouran fanart picture. This should be compatible for photoshop 6.0 and up.
The tutorial is super super super long...sorry....the file is huge as well. I separated the tutorial into 2 parts. The first part is on CGing skin, the second is on hair, eyes, and clothes. They are zipped up together so you need to download the file.
Personally, I think the tutorial is quite crappy just because I am horrible at explaining and teaching (I'm nonsensical). I hope it's not too confusing for everyone if not boring.
You can probably skip a lot of things since most of it is repeat.
Critiques are discouraged because I have no confidence in making tutorials. You can see why I was always so reluctant to make one.
I'll scrap this later. If I have to, I'll delete it just because I have a fetish for deleting stuff these days XD;;.

Really interresing. I particulary loved the details on the skin and the colors, especially the last shading part ^^ I think I'll try something with that color palette because I love natural looking skin! (I color the skin too orange or yellow, but I'm afraid of using grey-brown XD)
And you are totally right, i often use white as bg color, and my colors end looking too pale << Now I'm trying to work with a colored bg! >.<

I used to be afraid to use duller skin palettes as well, but they're a lot more fun/easier to work with than orange/yellow palettes.

Lolll at least you have a standard way of CGing. I could never create a tutorial for CGs because I CG differently for every pic. >_>;;;
