Commission for as a gift for
I really wanted to have this done while they were visiting eachother, sadly I'm a few days late. ;w; I'm so sorry for the wait on the commission, I really hope it was worth it!
I'm proud of the colouring on this, but Dody's pose took me FOREVER to come up with. The wave seems to have thrown her right off her board. B( Poor thing. And of course Aliona, being miss water bender and all, has no trouble with it. <3
Anyhow hope you both like this! Thank you for the game Dody. <3 Have a great summer.

I think my favorite piece of the artwork is the hair. >w< The hair just really stands out to me.
The effect of the wave is pretty cool too! 8D It almost looks a bit realistic!

You're so good with backgrounds and making a good-looking scene! The lens flare in the corner looks cool, and the water effects on this look fantastic, even the little droplets on Dody's paws. Speaking of Dody, I love her freaked-out expression XD the way her clothes and quills flow looks great. The little smudges on her feet were a good idea, they really give the feeling of momentum. Aliona looks really cute here, I love the way she's only just noticing Dody's wipeout behind her XD and the subtle blush in her cheeks. The perspective on her hands and legs looks perfect. Awesome work, I know they'll both love it c:

I love how the coloring came out on it, and I think it's one of the biggest strengths of this piece. It's smooth, vibrant, and well implemented.
The second big strength of this is both the water and the sky in the background. I really like how you did the effects with the water. The other effect I really love in this is the sunlight effect due to how well implemented it is in this. The shading and the lines look very smooth too.
Both character's poses and expression came out great too, and I think Dody's expression is just hilarious! I really like how the hair and eyes came out as well.
You certainly put a lot of work and effort into this. Well done!
