Commission for
~This is her character Eraiya. <3 I had to somehow throw in the symbol on her hand that only glows under the moonlight because I thought it was such a unique idea!
This is one of my personal favourites, although the outcome could have been better I'm sure. But due to the amount of effort and time I put into this, I'm proud of it overall, although I know there's still loads of room for improvement! Feel free to give me some constructive critique so I can learn a bit more. <3

I want to start off with the background and colors on this because I think they're two of the biggest strengths of this piece. You certainly put a lot of detail and effect into both of those area. They're very smooth, vibrant, and just stand out. I especially love how you did the changing light towards the horizon in the sky.
The pose and expression are both very well done too. I also like how her hair and tail came out along with the eyes.
For the shading, it's very smooth, and I think you did a great job with the night time shading effects, so well done with that aspect of this as well.
The one real critique I have is with the water in the background. From the way it's rendered in this, it looks very solid, and not very "watery" like. One question I do have is what the white lines are supposed to represent? The reason I ask is because it just seems hard to make out from my vantage point, and wanted to get an explanation so I could make a better comment on it. One comment I will make though is how very nicely you captured the moon's reflection.

I suppose the 'white lines' are meant to be ripples in the water. I do definitely need some help, water-wise, so if you have any tips I'd love to hear!

Aha! Ok then! That helps a lot. As for tips, I'd say the main flaw with the water in the background is that it looks like it's very solid, and not really watery. I would also improve on the "ripple" effect too because it didn't look like it was portrayed well (I actually thought they represented drops hitting the water when I first looked at it).
Here's one reference you can use: [link] Notice the water in this piece the person did looks a lot more watery. You should try to get towards that kind of effect. I'm not sure what specific tools that artist used when do that piece though.

You did a outstanding job on the shading,you are really improving with your style.The grass looks so alive,and you always know just how to make stars shine bright.The bright moon effect looks wonderful,and the water is smooth and calm.

You did such an amazing job of this Crys, i lovehow you picked a night time scene too because how the moon shines off of Eraiya just makes her look so pretty! I also love how you darken her usual colours to fit into the night scene and such lovely effects on the water begind her. ;w; I also love her hair to bits! You can really see a breeze going acrosst and i adore how curly and thick her hair is <3 Beautiful job!

Oh mai goodness! I absolutly love it! You're the first to decide to do something with her hand pattern, and I sure like how you worked with it. It looks so mystic and glowy. The moon in the background just enhances that affect. I love how you put the feel in this piece so well, the night theme gives off such a relaxing atmosphere and her free going pose works well with it. You got all her patterns lovely well done and I love how you made her hair and clothes flow with the wind. And gosh I love her big flooffy tail, you made it look so huggable. I am super glad you liked working with my lil Eraiya and even more happy with how youv pulled of such a lovely piece of art ~<3

I love so much about this! Her flowing hair, the tones, her purple eyes and clothes (purple's one of my fav colors) contrast awesomely with her white skin/fur! Lovely scene, too!
