EDIT: Finally added some whiskers to these guys because thatβs been bugging me for years XDSo this is a follow up from the brilliantly talented works of DJ88 Β
I share most of her same views on this topic, so if you'd like to read that explanation, I'd read the description under her beautiful piece.
Anyways, basically I added Lion Guard Simba to the mix. He doesn't look as bad as I originally thought he would. But those eyes are huge. O-O
I tried to follow the styles from each individual movie the best I could, I hope it turned out ok.

Basically I drew each version of Simba from the original movie, Simba's Pride, and the spinoff Disney Junior show The Lion Guard.

I really do like this image, and how it portrays all three "Simba's" but I have to say that the original Simba from the first TLK is by far my favorite. Not only does Simba's looks change in TLK2, but so does his personality. He becomes such a stickler, when in the first film he has spent the vast majority of his life living carefree. I can see why he'd be so overprotective of Kiara, because that's the typical father-daughter relationship, but then in TLG he changes again and becomes more wise and more carefree.

Most not like Simba TLK2 he looks like a different character
-light-red eyes
- Very dark brown eye shadow
- purple nose
- white sclera, instead of yellow
-Β His nose is identical to his of Mufasa
What I do not like about TLG Simba is his thick eyebrows and that looks like an anime style painted

I don't really like the Lion Guard Simba design either, but everyone is different. But still, they could've at least got the artists from the Timon and Pumbaa series! Also, I hate the Lion Guard Simba's character or personality. He's such a stiff! The Lion King 2 Simba was more laid back than this! Heck, Mufasa in the show is cooler than him! Also, Rob Lowe! Again, why couldn't we get the guy who voiced Simba in the Timon and Pumbaa show?! They just totally missed the mark on Simba.

Honestly, Lion Guard Simba is so weird to me. Like sometimes he looks fine, like the original. But most of the time he just looks so strange, like you said the eyes are way too big and it really bothers me

I like to think they couldn't get Simba's actor to return for any of the following lion king stuff so that means each time they have to hire a new lion to play him.
