Description EDIT: Finally added some whiskers to these guys because that’s been bugging me for years XD

So this is a follow up from the brilliantly talented works of DJ88 Β 
I share most of her same views on this topic, so if you'd like to read that explanation, I'd read the description under her beautiful piece.

Anyways, basically I added Lion Guard Simba to the mix. He doesn't look as bad as I originally thought he would. But those eyes are huge. O-O

I tried to follow the styles from each individual movie the best I could, I hope it turned out ok.

I like his mature SP design and LK1 design better. His TV design looks boxy and he's smaller which is weird, but it could be worse lol.

Simba from TLG is too weird for me. o_o
I still prefer Simba from the original movies (TLK and TLK II).

I personally prefer the design from TLK2. I dunno why, he just looks more smexi to me that way haha.

I wish they'd kept the same style for TLG as they had in the movies, but IΒ  totally understand they had to simplify it and make it more suitable for kiddies for the tv series.

I do too. I guess it is more appealing for them but it still bugs us older people who grew up with the first two.

The Simba from Simba's Pride still looks the worst to me, those colors are just horrid to look at! At least TLG got his colors right!

I still prefer Simba's Pride Simba over Lion Guard Simba, simply because of LG's eyes. I just can't stand them, although I agree with you on the colors.

Personally, I never had a problem with Simba's TLKII look. His colors look different, sure, but I don't see why that's necessarily a bad thing. I don't know, it just doesn't bother me for some reason. :/

Is it bad that I prefer the Simba from the Lion Guard? I actually think he looks quite cute.

Besides, I wouldn't say that either one of the designs for Simba is bad and the problem I see here is design consistency, not design quality. Then again I'm not super picky about designs so... (I would say more about how I actually do get peeved about people who are picky about designs but that would likely be off topic so I'm going to keep it off unless anyone wants to discuss it here)

I agree, the design consistency is terrible. I mean, each design is great if they stand on their own, but trying to string them together just doesn't work.
