If you really wanted a princess/knight couple from Sacred Stones Eirika and Seth were basically already in bed together waiting for you to draw them. But Ephraim/L'Arachel is cool too (I liked their support when Ephraim attempted to show some skin, lol).
As for FE's 9 and 10, I never got to play them because my friend and neighbor wouldn't let me, the jerk. Mostly I just want to play them for the story and because you actually can have a character of the "soldier" class, something that hasn't been done since FE 2: Gaiden.

Haha yes I know, I'm actually drawing Eirika and Seth now. Their support convo made it canon in my mind. And Ephraim x L'arachel suddenly became my favorite because of their support, even though neither were prior to that XD
Yeah I didn't play FE9/10 for a long time but finally decided to bite it and get the console. For these games mainly >< I think I'm always playing FE for the story, but it was the gameplay that really got me into it... I've yet to play the first 3. Probably just going to play the remakes for 1 and 3, but 2 looks really interesting and obviously quite unique. You could try emulating at least FE9 if your computer can handle it. I enjoyed both Tellius games immensely =] Great characters as always and the complexity was nice.

I have emulated FE9 (IIRC that is called Path of Radiance, but I sometimes get it mixed up with Radiant Dawn), but I haven't gotten far in it because I've been playing too much Awakening
And I cannot wait for the EirikaxSeth art! I love the way you draw the FE characters, regardless of whether or not I've actually played their games.
As for Marth's remakes, I've only emulated Shadow Dragon but didn't really get into it for some reason. Maybe it was the weird move ranges (then again, FE9 has those too... what unpromoted, unmounted unit moves 6-7 spaces?), I dunno. And I just couldn't get into Gaiden. I tried, but it just seemed... I don't know. Gamer of the Future here, but it just felt too old. As in, the controls just didn't handle well (maybe it was just the emulator, I'm not sure).
Also, as a final note, thanks for the quick reply! I look forward to seeing your future drawings!

Haha same, Awakening got in the way of me finishing PoR XD
Thanks for the encouragement! Just got back from travelling, will work on it again now, I'm really slow but I'm determined to finish this one, unlike many others >_<
I tried Shadow Dragon multiple times, but ended up stopping some chapters in. I think Fire Emblem has always been character-driven, but in this one, they failed to give the characters life and personality. Plus some of the game mechanics just felt outdated after all the other games...
Gaiden, I watched a let's play of it on youtube, it was pretty fun to watch, but I think it might be frustrating to play. And I get what you mean, I have trouble getting into old games; it takes some getting used to before I discover what's so wonderful about them.Β
π: 0 β©: 1
Lt-Voss In reply to snowp [2013-08-11 01:52:49 +0000 UTC]
I dunno, Gaiden was just really, completely different than what I was used to. I floundered about before my temper got the best of me and I walked away in frustration. Mostly my fault I'll see about watching someone else play Gaiden; do you remember the guy's name so I can look it up?
I didn't stick around in Shadow Dragon long enough to see if the characters had personality, I got mad and walked away when an axe user with a ~20% chance to hit Marth hit him and killed him. On the easiest difficulty. I didn't really think the mechanics of Shadow Dragon were outdated, but it was just confusing, having it deviate from the mechanics I grew up with (that weird movement thing in addition to some others).
As for the drawing, take your time! I'd much rather have a finished work that took months to make than a hastily released, unfinished one two days from now (all of this is figurative of course, I don't know how fast you can draw well, so those months may be weeks or days for all I know ). EirikaxSeth has always been my #1 pair in all the GBA games.

snowp In reply to Lt-Voss [2013-08-11 13:19:30 +0000 UTC]
Lol the game did look frustrating at some parts, can't blame you. I think what made me interested in the game was when I realized Camus was in this game XD and that it was connected to FE1 and FE3.Β
I believe the guy's name is seph12221 (I don't remember the actual string of numbers, just that it consisted only of 1s and 2s)
Hahaha yes that can make one put down the game. Maybe I wasn't used to all the characters being so serious in a FE game? There's no rescue, can't remember about steal (I wish FE:A still had that), no skills... Being a FE fan though, I know I'm going to finish it someday ><
I usually spend 5-10 hrs coloring my finished pieces... The sketch and lineart can vary, but in general, I've never been able to spend more time than that, hence my stuff have never looked really polished since my speed also leaves much to be desired. Just don't have the patience T_T It's more an issue of how long I can work on it in one sitting before I get frustrated. Regardless, thank you so much for the support, I'll try not to disappoint =]
I have too many favorite pairs, have to sort out a ranking for them!
π: 0 β©: 1
Lt-Voss In reply to snowp [2013-08-11 16:45:40 +0000 UTC]
I'm not too familiar with the characters of the older games. I can only recognise names because of the special weapons in FE:A (Like Sigurd's Lance, Seliph's Blade, etc), but I'm not knowledgeable about their character or personality.
I looked up the guy, who I guess was really "seph1212", but apparently he deleted his account. All I can find are videos done by a user by the name of "Kelsper" who seems to know him (one of his video descriptions listed seph1212's channel and had the name "Trent" next to it), but I'll be sure to check out the let's play regardless, since I hope this guy Kelsper will be able to find enjoyment where I did not.
Perhaps it was that they were too serious... they just felt stiff from the little dialogue I saw of them. As for those mechanics, yeah. I miss rescue and steal (I don't recall Shadow Dragon or Awakening having either of those skills, though I guess Pair Up can possible count as rescue). This has made me mad many times when I found an enemy in Awakening that had two weapons and a healing item, one of which would drop if it was the last item in the inventory and I couldn't steal the healing item so it was always the one that dropped.
You don't have to worry too much about disappointing. I haven't seen a single work of yours where I was genuinely disappointed. I mostly enjoy your Fire Emblem works, but I can still recognise, despite my lack of knowledge in the field of art (I can draw really awesome stick figures), that you are a good artist.
As for favourite pairs... I'd have to agree with you on that. Perhaps we can come up with a combined list of favourite pairs?

Hmm which Fire Emblem games have you played? I'm guessing either Lyn, Eliwood, Hector's game or Roy's game?Β
Lol I think I'll never be able to talk about FE4/ Genealogy of the Holy War without putting a plug in for it. It's my favorite Fire Emblem for two main reasons: it was such an emotional story, I'll never be able to forget it; and the gameplay was really different, and yes some aspects made it overpowered, but at the time, it was really refreshing and I enjoyed it immensely.
Yup that's him! He deleted his account?! =[ I just watched his videos earlier this year and I think he's been around for a long time... That's too bad.Β
You remind me! Shadow Dragon doesn't have support or base conversations. Overall just too little dialogue maybe? The whole tone is so dark too. Tbh I don't like the direction FE art style has been going since FE10.Β
Stealing makes me obsessive, but I also really enjoy it XD And I really like thief characters but many of the time they're too weak or can't promote =[
Yeah pair-up is like a reverse rescue, but being such, it doesn't always function as rescue as well.Β
Hey stick figure diversity isn't easy to achieve either!Β
And thanks =] I also enjoy art of subjects I recognize more.Β
I'm up for that Again, which games?Β
I found FE8 to have lots of romantic supports, more than other games. And more romantic endings. So I'll start here:
Seth x EirikaΒ
Ephraim x L'arachel
Joshua x Natasha
Lute x Artur (Lute x anyone is hilarious, and such a good character too)
Neimi x Colm is so canon I have to like it XD
π: 0 β©: 1
Lt-Voss In reply to snowp [2013-08-13 19:41:52 +0000 UTC]
I've played Roy's game (though not all the way through, life happened and then I forgot about it), Lyn's game, Eirika's game, the first two missions of Shadow Dragon and the first two missions of Path of Radiance, and Awakening.Β FE4 sounds like a really good game. Wish I had the time between school, job, and the already numerous games I play to try it out.
I think that seph1212 deleted his account; his channel doesn't exist and none of his comments exist.
Yeah, to me it's the lack of... fuity dialogue, I guess is the best way to describe it. From what I played of Shadow Dragon, there was very little dialogue and what little dialogue there was was very... formal, serious. There was no joking or anything. I mean, come on. Why give the characters a name and a face if you aren't going to expand their personalities a lot? I mean, in the beginning of FE8, like the first couple missions, you can tell Seth is very dutiful, but is also struggling with a secret (revealed in Eirika's A support, naturally). Marth in the prologue of SD was... naively arrogant, like... "I'll defeat you!" How more unoriginal could you be? How less creative?
Yeah, I hate how with pair-up the unit that does the pairing up goes to the back. If I have a unit in danger, I want to be able to save him/her, not join him/her in their peril. I really loved thieves, though, because if I played my supports right I could have a speedster that dodged light magic and could take down Generals in a couple turns, especially if they were promoted to either Assassin or Rogue.
Heh, you can just check out my scrap gallery and see my attempts at fleshed out "people" actually are. I thought they were pretty good, but that was mostly because I had become a master at drawing stick figures with heads that fit the bodies.
Just from FE8, I'd have to make the top 5:
Seth x Eirika (just so much dawww)
Joshua x Natasha
Colm x Neimi (if you don't ship them you're playing the game wrong lol)
Artur x Lute
Duessel x Amelia (not really a "pair", but their supports were so sweet it was amazing)
Of all the FE games I've played? Top 5 is really difficult... so I'll try a Top 10 instead, not necessarily in order from least favourite to most favourite:
Roy x Sue
Clarine x Rutger
Lyn x Kent
Eliwood x Ninian
Eirika x Seth
Colm x Neimi
Avatar (Awakening) x Lucina
Stahl x Lissa
Florina x Sain
Joshua x Natasha

I apologize for the late reply!
I can't quite explain it, but I have a very good impression of FE6, which in my memory I enjoyed even more than FE7, though I'm finding I can't recall the details of these two's plot...Β
And I couldn't agree more, with real life and new games it's difficult to go back to old ones.Β
Yeah with Shadow Dragon, we don't see much of the personal aspect to the characters, it really bears down on my enjoyment while playing. Still it's supposed to have a good storyline...
Not bad at all! More details to the outfits than I usually do =]
Looks like we ship a lot of the same in FE8. Though FE8 does come with a lot of relationships already built in, something I really liked about it.
Other games... I'll choose from the same ones you did then...
Lyn x Hector
Eliwood x Ninian
Roy x Lilina (cuz to me that's a union of all the lords of FE7 XD)
Miledy x Gale
Nino x Jaffar
Chrom x female MU
Lon'qu x Lissa
I really want to see Chrom x Cordelia but they get no convos ><
And I really like Lucina, but can't decide who yet.
Clarine x Rutger is like the Natasha x Joshua of 6 so gotta like them too.

No problem, we've all got stuff that needs doing that's probably more important than replying to a comment.
Basically what I remember from FE6 is that King Zephiel of Bern (whom you saved in FE7 when he was a wee boy) turned into a total tool and decided to attack the people who rescued his arse (Eliwood, Hector, & Co.) and Roy, being the only one of Eliwood's line able to fight (with Eliwood being old and sick and stuff), had to go fight. FE7 was when this jerk-bag Nergal tried summoning fire dragons into the world but Eliwood and friends defeated him with the power of friendship.
Maybe I'll have to give Shadow Dragon another chance and put my prejudices aside. I'm going to try to resolve to play it through at least once.
I've been getting better with outfits, not so much with faces, hair, hands, feet, boots/shoes, arm lengths, leg lengths, etc. And weaponry. Also: I can't draw horsies. Wish I could, because I'd love to draw knights/cavalry and stuff. I'll have to look around and try to find some horse drawing tutorials or something.
FE8 was really "Shipping: The Game" before Awakening came out, the way I see it. So many characters got married in their A supports it really is kind of funny/great/scary/whatever. Also, Ephraim and Eirika. Gods. I looked into it. They seem to be "rather close" to each other. And then you look at their Sacred Twin weapons, Sieglinde and Siegmund, which were incestuous twins in Norse mythology. As a side note I have no idea why I thought that out or brought that up by I'm too lazy to erase it, heh.
I really want Cordelia x Chrom. Unfortunately the developers for Awakening took a page from Mystery of the Emblem and took Catria, deleted her name, and replaced it with Cordelia. Essentially it works like this: Caeda --> Marth <-- Catria | Sumia --> Chrom <-- Cordelia. To be honest it really feels like a cop out. I mean, for literally EVERY single character, if s/he can support with a character of the opposite gender they could marry. WHY U NO MARRY CORDELIA CHROM

Somehow missed this comment super long ago but so interesting reading it now!Β
Ha about FE8, I actually saw a lot of romantic shipping fanarts or eirika and ephraim I stopped thinking it was strange at some point lol
With the Cordelia, Chrom, Sumia situation, FE is all about archetypes and recurring themes... the issue for me was that there wasn't even a support convo between chrom and cordelia so you see next to nothing of their interaction, so no closure along that plotline/ character interaction.
btw were you able to secure a fates special edition (if you wanted it)? no luck here, should've shelled out the money immediately instead of thinking about it orz

Lt-Voss In reply to snowp [2015-11-26 01:02:33 +0000 UTC]
Fair enough, I would have been happy had Cordelia at least had some supports with Chrom, even if it just went to A. It was a bit weird to keep seeing Cordelia refer to Chrom in such a swooning way, even after marrying some other guy. There's nothing more heartbreaking than hearing Cordelia promise you, the Avatar, that she'll love you above all others until the day she dies, only to go into the barracks and have her heave a maidenly sigh as she watches Chrom from afar. π: 0 β©: 1
By the time I was aware Fates had even been put up, I was currently riding on less than 80 dollars in my bank account after paying to go to an anime convention. In fact, I heard about Fates' "release" as it were, AT the convention. I really want to get Fates in one package; I don't want to shell out and buy multiple copies just to swap them out every now and then. I realise that they'll sell DLC versions through the store if you own a physical copy of one version of the game, but unless I'm mistaken, doesn't the "third", "golden ending" version where everyone plays nice with each other only come with the special edition?
Basically I just want all three versions of Fates. If it comes down to the wire and the only way to get them upon release is to buy each seperately, I'll be mighty mad but I'll do it... dunno whether to be proud of that or not. From what I can see Fates is gonna be the best FE yet, if only because in one (technically three) package, we're gonna get FE mechanics from 1-7 in "Conquest", Mechanics from 2/8/13 in "
I wish I'd known of Fates' special edition sooner so I could have canceled the convention trip and bought the game. I'd have been set then and there, lol.
snowp In reply to Lt-Voss [2015-11-26 04:02:02 +0000 UTC]
Yeah definitely, I try not to be negative about FE but I'm really not a fan of this complicated release scheme. I understand that it's trying to appeal to more casual gamers, and by splitting up the storylines, you're not so committed to a really long game that would also cost more than the usual 3DS game. But just entirely from my personal point of view as a hardcore FE fan, I still haven't warmed up to all the changes since FE:A. I still miss the more conservative attire and permadeath from the old games. I also like to have physical copies so the whole eshops aren't very appealing to me. The way I understand it, you can buy the 2 main paths at full price as physical copies, or buy one and download the other at a discounted rate. I am quite certain that the 3rd path (invisible kingdom or revelations) can also be downloaded, it is not exclusive to the special bundle. The special bundle just offers all 3 paths on a single card. I know I'm gonna need all 3 versions too. Being a fan of visual novels too, I'm assuming that you only get the full picture by playing them all. I also heard they brought on a writer to especially improve the strength of the plot, so I'm looking forward to that. My alternative is to get both physical copies... stupid budget-wise but it's the collector mentality in me.
... so the real family are still not blood related? Yeah it's a tough decision, made easier by having the option of getting both. It also sets the stage for a lot of drama and emotional involvement, which is one of the developers' goal no doubt
I feel like there has gotta be restocks. They seriously miscalculated but there's time to put more together. I might be wrong and I'll be really pissed in that case. Honestly, why couldn't they have made the 3 in 1 card an option too, I mean that's the key, I'll live without the artbook...
π: 0 β©: 1
Lt-Voss In reply to snowp [2015-11-26 17:27:46 +0000 UTC]
Tell me about it. Even if they released a 3-in-1 card at a pretty steep price, ~120 dollars or so, I'd still prefer that than purchasing separate physical copies or one physical and two digital copies. I want the whole story, and I've heard that Conquest follows the older FE games' mechanics closer, with permanent death, no world map, etc, where Birthright follows more Sacred Stones or Awakening closer with a world map, more casual gameplay, but the story supposedly makes up for it. Not to mention that I've heard that the two versions follow somewhat different (aside from the obvious point that you belong to a different family in either game) stories.
The real family are like at best half-related and at worst not related at all. I think you might share the same mother with them, but I'm not entirely sure. I'm sure it was done that way to allow you as the player to marry anyone you wanted from either family, when you remember Japan's (and really the world's) views against incest. All I know for sure is that your Birthright family is "more" family, genetically, where your Conquest family is "more" family with regards to how well you know them and how long you've been with them.
Yes. They need to restock the special edition, only this time it should come at a reduced cost (not so reduced that you get three for the price of one, but maybe half or two thirds what it would cost to get each separately?) since the "actual" special edition with the fancy artbooks and the other shiny things we don't really need or want wouldn't come with it. It just seems a little disingenuous to allow only a few people get the whole game in one package. I mean, I realise that each version of the game is a "full" game in its own right, but we aren't getting the whole picture with just one, you know?
And you're a fan of visual novels?! That's cool. I'm afraid I've only gotten the more famous ones, and I haven't even played all the ones I've got. I've finished Grisaia no Kajitsu (and have a fan fiction in the works if you'd like to check it out), gotten about 60% through Little Busters, gotten about 30 minutes combined in both Clannad and Fate/Stay night. I've played Katawa Shoujo but can't bring myself to get 100% completion since that would mean getting bad endings and I don't want to. In terms of "out there" VNs, I have Saya no Uta, but I've not really played much of it. I have "Your Diary" too, but I got it because I was afraid even the little that's been translated would go dark.

Yeah I find this complicated/ multiple options distribution method hard to wrap my mind around. Just why is the option that's most ideal for hard core FE fans and people who end up liking the game limited availability lol? Not that there's anything we can do about it, at least we're getting the game?Β
Haha I hadn't thought about it much before, but I hope they don't get too ahead of the times! I think same sex relationships are possible in this game? which is cool. I'm not sure I can handle incest...
Just dug a hole in my pocket with the steam sale. I got Valkyria Chronicles, Trails in the Sky, Grandia II, Life is Strange, To the Moon lol I actually haven't played any of the VNs you've mentioned... I do have them, from a friend who played them. I think a lot of them are more male-oriented? I'm a big fan of Fate but the anime series are pretty darn good. I've been almost 4 years since I heard about Clannad, still not emotional ready to try it lol! My favorite vn/ puzzle games are the zero escape series.Β I've also played a lot of indie vns like Who is Mike? and Cupid, by the same studio.Β

Lt-Voss In reply to snowp [2015-11-30 00:12:46 +0000 UTC]
You're right, we can't complain too much since the games themselves aren't limited (at least in long term; stores probably will sell out quickly given FE's popularity). And yeah, there's a same-sex pairing for your avatar, one for each gender. I believe both characters are available in both versions (Conquest and Birthright), but I'm not entirely sure. I'm fairly certain they're more bisexual than outright polarised; don't quote me on it but I think both the same-sex options are also marriage options for the opposite genders (I haven't played the game and could be wrong, though). As for incest, eeehhhh. In my eyes it's a big grey area, but that's a completely different topic altogether.
I've been a little strapped for cash lately; my line of work, despite being a hardworking job that pays fairly well, might as well be considered unemployment due to how much time is between each bit of work (a job one week, another job another week three months later, that sort of thing). As such, I haven't been able to honestly look at anything to buy. I've had Valkyria Chronicles for a while now; I haven't played it recently though. I got about 60-70% of the story done before I stopped for... some reason I can't remember.
And, yeah, the VN's I listed are more male-oriented, for the most part. One could make the argument that even with a male protagonist the females in the game are a more central role, but that'd defeat the point of it all, really. Clannad really is an emotional rollercoaster, at least from what I saw through the anime (I haven't watched After Story yet because I do want to play the game through it first). The Fate series is cool, yeah, but unfortunately for me I've only seen the anime adaptation of Unlimited Budget Blade Works, and haven't played the VN yet. I've had a backlog of anime to watch, and every so often it only seems to get bigger rather than smaller. I'll have to find time to watch a bunch in one sitting. Although... watching Plastic Memories in one sitting probably wasn't the best idea, judging by how I reacted to the ending...

Haha I am so embarrassed at my first world problems. The long and short of the story is that the special edition opened for preorders in Canada last Friday and I missed it, wasn't following EB games on twitter or anything. Didn't find out until Sunday when I woke up, then went onto spending 2 hours calling stores in every city I have friends in in Canada. Everywhere sold out within minutes of opening on Friday and the only store I found which had problem with preordering was going to open again on Monday... of course every friend is working then lol. At that point I just rage quit and suddenly it felt completely ridiculous that I was so worked up over this game. I still feel pretty stupid but I think I came out of that experience a bit less of a crazy fanatic.Β
Serenesforest.net is hosting a contest, the grand prize is FE:F special edition or a set of the famicom games and artbook. It's the grand prize though lol.
If you don't mind me asking, what do you do for work?Β
Most of the games I got are too large scale to play right now... plus my computer is actually too old to run Valkyria Chronicles and Life is Strange orz
Hahaha unlimited budget works.Β
For a while I was watching all the interesting anime each season, have waned down to very few now. I stopped Plastic Memories at that episode (4 or 5) where the kid opens the door and a creepy person is there... Also stopped Charlotte when the sister got more involved. I'm seriously not prepared for overly emotional stuff... only watching One Punch Man and Gundam right now lol

I work with my father as essentially hired muscle; he's... how to put it... an IT contractor? He does things from get offices wired up and ready for internet access, to hardware tech support, to software tech support, and so on. Since I'm not exactly well-versed in the techno mumbo jumbo I just help him out on wiring jobs, since he's getting old, because those jobs tend to involve lots of ladder climbing, running back and forth, and such. It pays well, way better than minimum wage, but he doesn't get wiring jobs all that often.
We recently had our water pipe leading to our house spring a big leak, so I've been unable to play any "heavy" games, what with all the shoveling to the yard to replace the pipe (but with the weather getting colder we're gonna have to bury the pipe again soon, replaced or not...). Mostly I've been playing Microsoft's Solitaire games, heh.
I can understand not wanting emotional gut punches in anime. I'm afraid I've turned myself into a monster, because after Angel Beats, Clannad, Kokoro Connect, and more, I've become hardened against crying. I watched and only suffered from a tight chest (you know, like your heart hurts but you can't cry). I cried at the end of Plastic Memories, but had to force myself to let out more than a few single tears. I ended up bawling my eyes out, but the fact that I had to put effort into it scares me, and that isn't a joke. Charlotte however, there's one episode where I needed no effort to run to my sister (to whom I have a love-hate relationship that leans more toward hate than love) and literally cried into her shoulder. Maybe it's because what happened to make me that way was a situation that, while I can't say would affect me the same were it to happen to me right this moment, has been something I've imagined many times and is enough to keep me awake at night...
I tried to get into One Punch Man but my sense of humour refused to let me enjoy it. I just kept thinking in the back of my mind that the punchline (no pun intended) of each episode was more or less the same. It's kind of like my problem with tsundere characters. I don't have a problem with them specifically, but one time I thought, "how would these people react to the tsundere if this were real life?" And after imagining the obvious outcome of the tsundere being ostracised or even arrested, my enjoyment of tsunderes after that point was severely diminished. I still enjoy shows that have them; Toradora, Shakugan no Shana, Familiar of Zero (whose tsunderes coincidentally all share the same VA, fittingly enough) are some of my favourite anime, even though I've only seen the first seasons of SNS and FOZ... though that may be because they're comedic romances rather than romantic comedies (emphasis on romance in the former, on comedy in the latter).

Really?! That kind of sucks... It's so weird that Canada got it early, and now other places are getting it later...
To me, Elincia x Geoffrey is more reminiscent of Eirkia x Seth, because they were never on opposing sides... though I agree it's still princess x knight. Couples aside, Eltoshan is the one that Camus reminds me of (or the other way around if I had actually played them in order).

Well Acording to some friend of mine in mexico, the debut will be tomorrow at 'El Palacio of Hierro'(a mall famous for importing videogames), here in Colombia we've not news of debut, but some friend send us(even if don't have 3ds...yet) Canadian copies that will come the thursday for our own 'debut' in Friday... and them the europeans are jelaous of us,XD.
Yes, i that can be see in that way, and yes Eltoshan was Camus 2.0 but unlike Camus, Eltoshan reason of loyalty were more shaky(until explained in the Treasure concept book, that the Nodion Royal family is tied to serve thanks to some sin of their ancestors)

Play it, not own it(A friend download it), still waiting for the bundled pack...
That was a special Book create for Nintendo and published by Enix i think, that give information about FE4 including excluive background stories and beta elements(like Arione being considered playable, some modification, etc).

I unfortunately haven't beaten FE10. as my older brother broke my CD. I can however, see how this paring is a good one.
The thing that bugs be about FE10 from what I can remember, is that the support convos were so short. I wanted to know more about the new people in the game.

That's too bad...
As much as I like all the choices we get in Fire Emblem, in the aspect of pairings, I like getting official hints in the game. There was a bit of that in the prologue of part 2, where there is gossip that his loyalty to Elincia had other bases XD
You're right, FE10 doesn't have true support conversations. There are generic templates into which you plug the name of the character you're supporting with. I definitely missed the extra information and interesting scenarios presented by them. I liked having the conversations during the battles though rather than at the base, I guess because of the variety it provides by breaking up the gameplay.

Geoffrey was one of my favorite units to use! I admired the kind of man he was, and I definitely loved Elincia's demeanor as well! They're both incredible people, and this definitely captures the immense joy those two probably would have around each other. Such a great couple

To be honest, I have yet to recruit Geoffrey in PoR... but I like his personality from what I saw of him in Radiant Dawn and from reading spoilers back when I didn't think I would ever be able to get the game. Their support was really sweet, and at an earlier point in the game when they rescued the prisoners, she was so happy to learn that there were survivors and she mentioned his name in particular
