Ohhh haha you're right, they are grey in the in game portraits... they looked blue to me when I was consulting the official fullbody art when drawing this, that's why

I'm trying to get as many supports as I can for Lissa to decide on her husband. (I'm playing as female MU so I can't just hog her to myself XD)
Btw, do you know if you gain support points by waiting next to each other like in previous games? Or do they have to engage in battle together and get the heart above their heads?

Australia gets it at the start of April. I'm really looking forward to this, one of the reasons being the Spot Pass characters (I've really wanted to use Ira ever since she was announced).

Yeah I'm pretty excited to see some of my favorite characters again, though I hope they will fit into the story naturally somehow. I would love for this game to add something new to these characters rather than them just being units that you can use, in which case, I can't help but wonder why wouldn't I just go play their respective games if I wanted to use these units? But for nostalgia reasons, I will definitely be getting them, and I hope Ira will be as awesome as she was in FE4!

Of course, in some cases you have to use emulators to play some characters' games. Which makes it hard for some people. I do wonder how it will all be worked in.

I never thought about emulation as an issue because after all, it's free! But you bring up a good point. I think the DLC/ SpotPass characters will be more appealing to people who have played the previous games though, but the changes to the battle system will be fun to try on old characters!

I think most of the old characters come promoted, as far as I know. So we'll get Swordmaster Ira, for example.

Yeah, that's an unusual one. Maybe the trickster replaces the old rogue class? But still, given he was the lord character in the fifth game...

Tricksters can use staves apparently! Thief can also promote to assassin so yeah, rogue is gone.
