I just now noticed that the torch didn't cast any light on the wall in the previous render of this scene. Why? Because I keep wasting time trying to take advantage of Iray Canvases when it's just easier to get the scene looking as good as possible IN the preview window!

So, here's a test using the Painters Lights from DAZ and a very low HDR, no canvases used, no adjustments to lighting, minor color correction and smoothing in Photoshop. It's more standard 3D-looking, but still looks alright for a no-effort render I guess. Thanks for taking a look! Let me know which of these blonde-in-the-dungeon pics you like best if you have a favorite.
