Yeah, I'd be a subscriber.
Mockup of old fantasy comics, main image based on the results of the KickAssClub poll from earlier. Was not originally intended to be a comic cover, but I decided to make it into something a little different once I got the posing finished. Far more work and trouble than it should have been because I completely screwed up some early steps, but it was fun to make and I think it came out OK overall. Hope you do too!

Absolutely adore this one, about to strike with the fierce expression of a war goddess about to slaughter her without mercy, as she crushes her throat under her foot and holds up a leg by the ankle. So good. Pity we never got to see the follow up as she drives her spear with full passion into the yield soft flesh as the dying blonde thrashes about shrieking.

Oh this is just a parody comic cover, not a real cover. It's fun just to make things like this, so just practice and you'll surely be able to make them too. Β

Thanks very much! Covers are fun to make but I always make the mistake of getting the image started before setting the dimensions to be appropriate for a comic cover. I really need to plan ahead better. Β

Awesome work!!! Is it hand painted over 3D in photoshop or only postwork (adjustments, filters, color correction, etc)?

Thank you, glad you like it! There were a few fixes that I painted in Photoshop, but most of the Photoshop work was color correction, adjustments, and that sort of thing.
There's another version where I used Photoshop's Art History Brush and got a more painted-looking result: All New Action (Art History Brushed).Β I don't remember exactly what I did, but it couldn't be that hard because I can't really paint very well.Β Β

Impressive! I like more this style that seems to have been painted by hand (isikol) than all the 3d art that seems rigid and unnatural, even the realistic renders. And it reminds me the Conan's covers that I like so much when I was younger.
