New Smacky cover based on a rough sketch by alexichabane , which you can see here: Smacky Fight Sketches Β (the top-center one). Thank you again for those fun sketches!I was starting to get a bit frustrated with this, so I decided to wrap it all up quickly. Just wasn't able to get the punch impact effects I wanted at all, and that was disappointing. Might go back and improve it in the future if I get any ideas, but I guess it's decent enough. I didn't put a strong paper texture or wear on this one because I didn't want to hide the subtle rain effects (so consider it a near-mint condition issue). Β
Genesis 3 figures, rendered in DAZ Studio. Background props by Merlin and Predatron, water brushes by deviney. Rendered in DAZ Studio using Iray and an epic amount of color correction in Photoshop CC.
Hope you like it! Now that I have the cover dimensions right and the logo saved in parts, I'll try to make these more often.

That can really only be done in Photoshop, and there are many ways to try and get a more painterly look. Usually softening in some way, like reducing detail in Camera Raw or such, and color adjustments. I really don't have a secret method or any one way, it's a lot of experimentation and frustration until something works.

well punch impacts are not that easy to render I guess, but I think this is a sensational work of art depicting 2 vanquished warriors, undoubtedly one of the best I have ever seen. Maybe these poses would have been better suited for a deadly battle, where the 2 are run through at once with 2 swords. The posing of the writhing, contorting, body lifting with impact and screams of agony are nothing short of perfect. For anyone who likes to see mortal combat poses, it would not get better than this. Maybe you should do a sword version of it, as she drives the blades in to the hilt with full force, impaling the blonde as she lifts her high in the air. Their poses are really just perfect for such action, just as one would imagine and picture 2 dying warrior women right at that moment of the sexy kill filled with drama and passion and pain.

Thanks, yeah I do think this picture could work well if Smacky used blades too. I try not to make my scenes too bloody or overly violent though, but maybe I should try fights with weapons a little more often. Take care!

I recently came across a tutorial here on how to create effective punch scenes with DAZ!!! Since I'm only into Lift & Carry moves I didn't take note of who posted it... If I come across it again I'll gladly provide you with a link.
AND... I'd love to see Smacky use some some L & C moves on taller lighter weaker barefoot blondes!!!!!!
