I spit scalding flame...and you are going to slay me with a pointy stick?"I thought a little about remaking one of my older images (can you guess which one?), but this simple one was extremely frustrating and I'm still not happy with the results. Iray doesn't postwork all that well, I had to use an HDR filter on this to make it look interesting at all. I wonder if my artistic days may be coming to a close sometimes, as I'm rarely happy with my work and can't make any progress towards painting, drawing, or modeling. I just assemble stuff and even then I'm starting to repeat myself. I don't know, sorry for the rambling. Hope you at least like it. Β

I just can't bring myself to work on anything serious, not sure why. Therapists don't really have an answer either, so I just need to figure it out on my own. Thanks though, I always appreciate your comments and taking time to look at my stuff. Β

I understand completely, as I'm seeing a therapist myself dealing with Social Anxiety and depression, I use gaming and my artwork as a form of distraction from it...Otherwise, I'm a lump!

I think its beautiful and very well composed.Β I had a look through your gallery and there is a clear progression in your work. I think your work is steadily evolving in a good way.Β I know its super hard to be a good judge of your own work.Β And while this one is different than your 3Delight work its still gorgeous, just, different.Β

Thank you very much. I hope I've progressed over time, it's just been a very slow progression though. I think some of my best images were from 4 or 5 years ago, although I've made a few good ones since then. I'll keep trying when I can!

I know the feeling!Β I was away from art for almost 20 years except for the occasional sketch or drawing while raising the kids.Β Now that they are grown and basically out on their own I've gotten back into art and felt like I was starting completely over.Β It was very difficult to accept that I needed to go back to the basics lol.Β Then I found Daz Studio and 3dart and am totally fascinated and excited about what I can do with it.Β so for me, the 3dart is very difficult, such a lot of things to learn, and the post work is much easier for me since I am coming from a more traditional background and had been doing photoshop and digital drawing with a tablet for a couple of years.Β And I've meant to go and learn modelling and keep finding excuses to not start.Β The truth is, it totally intimidates me lol.Β Which is no excuse.Β But its tough to get past my fear of failing at it.

Thank you very much!Β I agree that it is easier than drawing and painting.Β I did do straight up renders no postwork up until about a month or two ago because I wanted to at least learn the basics of Studio so I wouldn't be tempted to take the easy way out lol.

I think it's called the "Classic Fantasy Bikini for V4" and it's by Aeon/Aery Soul. I'm not 100% sure it's still for sale though, some of Aeon Soul's early works are no longer available. I postworked some of the central holes to make it more smooth though.
