Description
Smacky test render with new materials (will they EVER be finished?!) and a background, also used many color corrections with alpha channel masks. Kind of a different, slightly more realistic (and 3D-y) style for me, not sure if I like it yet. Thanks for viewing!

I'm hoping a time will come when I don't have to remake her any more at least. Thank you very much!

I don't think you can do any wrong with Smacky really. She's such a lovely, interesting and charismatic character that she looks great no matter what style you select to show her in. I really like this style, but then again, I really like what you have created before, so I suggest you keep exploring both avenues.

Thank you very much! I haven't really gotten to show much of her personality besides fighting stuff though. I think I'm finally done with her materials, so hopefully it will be easier to make new pics with her.

This is really nice, SnowS! I personally prefer this version. But I also liked that other version which looks like a traditional paint. It's a very interesting effect.

Thank you! Yeah I really can't find a style that I'm completely satisfied with, and even when I do come close, I can never duplicate it.

That looks great! If you need some inspiration, you should try looking at some Richard Corben stuff (like the Den series), they tend to have really good colouring.

Thank you! I try hard to make things look more painted than rendered but it's difficult. 3D just always wants to look 3D.

I like it! Kinda painterly while still retaining some of the goodness from the 3d aspects

Thanks...lol, I was lazy, it's the same expression from the other Smacky tests and the Art History brushed one.

Well let's say it's a Trademark expression, suits her well By the way Ravietta made my Tyra animation if you wanna see it. It really looks like a Disney version of Tyra
