Description This mech, developed in late 1915 in response to the successes of the German Roboterfeldkanone 96, was designed and prototyped in Australia, and became known as the one proper Australian mechanical walker. Known by the Australians as 'The Emu' thanks to the fashion in which it moves and 'The Hummingbird' by everyone else thanks to its gun, the MO1915 is a notably heavier armoured vehicle than the one it was built to counter. The vehicle's 10-pounder gun was not built for heavy damage, but the system includes a simplistic loading mechanism with a capacity of four shells, and the comparative small size of the shells meant the gun could reload rather quickly. As such, the MO1915's most common nickname was derived from the short, quick bursts of fire, intended to increase the likelihood of hitting the target while moving. In the first engagements against the RFK 96, this proved deadly towards the German machines and the new German Roboterkorps took significant casualties before they learned to adapt. Later in the war, the MO1915 proved ineffective against larger and heavier armoured mechs, but proved incredibly useful in eliminating light armour and supporting infantry by destroying enemy machine gun nests and field guns, as well as suppressing enemy infantry.

The MO1915 is armed with a 10-pound gun with a four-shell loading rail, and a Vickers MG that protrudes from a second slot in the forward gun shield.

God damn. Does it have a support leg for that 10 Pounder?

Inside the turret? Yeah. Otherwise it either hunkers down to stabilise itself or relies on its forward momentum to counter the recoil.

It's actually a 10-pound field gun on legs, but thanks! The actual mech-tanks come later.
