OC's Appearance

_ Appearance: She has medium brown hair that reaches her shoulders and deep blue eyes. She is always seen in her Assassin robes, with her hood up or with it down. Despite being a Master Assassin she wears a black shirt and the ends of her robes are tinted black. She wears black short shorts and fingerless gloves with a hidden blade for each hand.

_ Personality: She's normally a very calm and colected girl. Layla is a very shy person but she does her best to be friends with everyone after she kind of scared them on the night she arrived at Masyaf. She is easily teased and because of her stubborn nature , her reactions are always funny thus making those around her tease her even more.

Her father was a syrian and her mother a Greek woman, thus making her half Christian half Muslim.Being a daddy's little girl she had a very happy life till the death of her parents when she joined the creed.

_ Character Background:
Layla is the the daughter of a greece mother and a syrian father, Zafar. She is half Christian half Muslim. Both of her parents are assassins and have been training her to become an assassin ever since she could remember.
After Layla was born her mother quit being an assassin in order to raise her daughter.
Layla had a very happy childhood. She was her daddy's little girl; always eager to hear her father’s stories from places that he visited on his missions.
She could not wait to be old enough so that her father can allow her to become a novice assassin and they could start going to missions together.
Her father, Zafar, was one of the best master assassins of Masyaf, well respected by all of his "brothers" and also one of Altair's teachers/mentors.
As Layla's training goes by, her father often took her to the HQ of the creed so she can see what she was getting into and enable her to train with some of the novice assassins. That was how she meet Altair. He was one of her father's strongest apprentice and he was also the only novice that took her serious when sparing, which in turn became the reason why she started to have a crush on him. Of course this was hers and her mom's secret as her Dad was way too much of an possessive dad to let ANY boy near his precious daughter , even if he knew exactly how Altair was like. As time went by Layla became very skilled and her father promised her that when she turns 16 she will officially become a novice assassin.
And so on Layla's 16th birthday Zafar promised his daughter that he will take her to Masyaf the day after and she was the happiest girl in the world. Untill disaster struck.
The Templars fund out that Zafar and his wife were assassins and attacked their house. Layla's parents took her outside through a secret passage and told her to take a horse and run away to masyaf. After hugging her parents, she took off into the direction of Masyaf while her parents fought the templars in order to distract them and buy her some time.
But as she was running from Jerusalem, She just could not take the idea of leaving her parents behind with the Templars. She turned the horse around back to her family. Unfortunately what she saw made her chilled to the core. Her house was in flames, her mother’s corpse near the flames and was nearly killed by a templar that attacked her, if it weren't for Zafar that saved her in the last moment.....but unfortunately Zafar was bleeding to death with all the injuries he had. He had deep wounds on every inch of his body, and was barely breathing. When Layla saw her father like that, she burst into tears and tried to treat his wounds the best she could. But he stopped her, told her to go to Masyaf where its safe and with his last breath he told her that he was proud of her and that he loved her.
In that exact moment, with her father dead in her arms, the heart that had been so full of life and happiness splintered into tiny pieces. On that night, at the gates on Masyaf stood a bloody Layla clutching to her chest one of her father's hidden blades.
And from that day on, Layla officially became a novice assassin, but the other assassins avoided her since she was more like a lifeless doll that a person.
For Layla it was training, mission, eating ,a repeat..
Altair, already an assassin, had watched her ever since she came to Masyaf on that bloody night and decided that enough was enough...he could not watch a girl so strong and full of potential destroy herself like this. Thus he approached her and they started to spend lots of time together, training, even going on missions together. And little by little they became close. And slowly the old Layla was starting to reemerge. She eventually confessed her love for him, but Altair being Altair said nothing, acting like the emotionless assassin that he wanted to be known as. But deep inside he knew that he already lost the battle with this little assassin girl who had gotten under his skin...THE END.
