I couldn't think of a name for this one. It isn't really a character image so much as an experiment in portraying a certain style and a specific mood. I'm really not sure how this image will look on other monitors. Mine tends to show things lighter than they really are. Feedback is much appreciated, I really would like to know what people think of the overall feel of the image. I was trying to take a daytime scene and make it into something dark and moody. I was trying to pull off a twilight feel, in other words.Stock:

I promise that I will get back to you ASAP with instructions on how to create that "dark" look that you wanted to learn. I've been swamped with school lately, I haven't forgotten, I've just been really busy.

I really like the way you put this together. It has feels almost like the horse is trying to run from someone, but at the same time it feels calm. c:

It feels like a the mare is hding from someone, because her coat kind of looks like there's scars on it. I think you did a great job on it.

That's interesting that you should mention that. I didn't really make this image with a back story in mind, but your comment got me thinking. I went ahead and composed a history for this horse in my head, I even wrote a poem about her. Wow, it's funny how these things work!

Ah, the horse isn't really opaque, it's just the textures that make it look that way. Should I remove the textures do you think, or blur them a little to make them less obvious? I thought they looked kind of cool myself.
