Too little and you're unsatisfied
Too much and you're drunk.
Most likely to go in some kind of funk.

You can have it alone
Or with your friends
You can have it some times
Or as if your time would end
It doesn't matter how,
As long as it's not just
for going along with the trend.

When you have it alone
They say you're depressed
But when you take too much
even with friends
They say you abused
It puts me at my wits end.

When is it right?
When is it not?
When I have it with me
I enjoy what I've got.
I don't care what they say
Whether they like it or not.
May I be alone
Or with my friends
It's bitter sweet taste
Makes me smile a lot.

Stupid poem popped in my head.

A quick break from writing... Had some beer and killed my lungs with some marlboro with my drinking buddy over there.

Okay... Now it's back to writing.

Edit: Fixed arthritic limbs and weird feet and such. Let me know if there's something weird that's still there. I can't put my finger on the mistakes.
