Nemu took Uryuu's hand in hers. and was surprised to find she liked how his warm and callused hand felt. When she looked up at him, she fell silent at a strange fluttering in her stomach.

"Are you okay?" Uryuu inquired, his dark eyes meeting hers.

Heat rose to her cheeks when she remembered what Matsumoto told her about that 'strange fluttering'.

"I am well, Quincy-sama." She looked down at their joined hands and felt his hand flex making the fluttering feel like a hundred butterflies swirling about.

"Stop calling me, Quincy-sama. I have a name, you know."

She looked up and met his eyes again. "Ishida-san?"

He looked amused. "Uryuu. Just call me, Uryuu."

"Then you shall call me, Nemu as well." She glanced at their hands again before looking up. "Is this acceptable, Uryuu?"

He smiled and pushed his glasses up his nose. "It's perfect, Nemu."

She smiled back and ruthlessly ignored the crazed fluttering things in her belly. With the way things were going, it was going to be there for a while. She figured she might as well get used to it.

I love these two. They're so cute together. And it's interesting to think what weird things might pop up in their conversation.

The bench is a lost cause. It makes me want to crush it. I did what I could to salvage it because my original sketch was screwed. I drew it sans perspective and with an envelope as a ruler coz I couldn't find one.
