I really enjoy this work. The chalky medium helps ad a sense of youthful whimsy. It also portrays a meditative feeling, making me feel both sad and at home. I think the anatomy on the cat is pretty spot on with only a few tiny flaws. Honestly I have been drawing since I was old enough to walk and still riddle my work with animals less life like then this.
The road way leading into the foggy mist, leaves one to think the cat may be awaiting a person who may never return perhaps a child grown and left home. The textures all have a nice simple feel to them. And save for the scribbles on the wall "they seem a bit distracting) all the textures all have a part to play.
The only think that seems truly off in this work is the moon. It seems even though this work as a rough natural feel to it. Like a child's work but better. The moon is a bit wobbly. This is understandable sense circles and strait lines are the hardest shapes to draw in my opine. here is a short link on the subject snapguide.com/guides/draw-a-pe… .
All in all this is a wonderful piece and makes me long for my childhood days when art and life was simple. Thank you for sharing.
PS my lil sister saw your pic on the computer screen and said it looked nice. This is a lot coming from her sense she's one of those people who will only say that out of the blue if she really means it.

I'm not quite sure what you mean by "the other person drew this". Is this not yours? Since I found this in the project comment, I'm going to comment assuming that this is your creation.
The first thing that popped out to me was the composition. It is quite perfect and eye catching. The imagery and atmosphere seem to tell a long story. Who is the cat waiting? I think it makes a great illustration for a book about magical world.
The only thing I can comment is the lighting. The white is working like bright area. The moon is lit up, which make sense, and strong outline on the left side of the cat looks like reflecting the moonlight, which is great. But the white hashing on the back of the cat kind of throws off the light. There shouldn't be that light, and it competes with the moon. It confuses where the eyes should go. Without it, it'd be much clearer and gives deeper space I think.
Otherwise, it's rough but the style works as an illustration. I really don't have whole a lot more to add to this one. I hope this helps.

Good gesture-like drawing. I think adding light at the tp most part of the bottom part of the window seal would add to it. You have highlights on curtains and outline of the cat anyways,
