Description
This picture was kind of based on the game Pokemon Mystery Dungeon Explorers of Sky. In this game, you can actually become a Riolu, Shinx, Skitty, etc.
I turned out to be Shinx, but my partner was a Riolu.
Anyway, this picture has a little story to go along with it:
Riolu had just woken up on a foreign beach and there he finds a face staring back at him. The creature said to him that he was a normal Riolu. The new Riolu couldn't take the new information and dashed off into a forest where it started to drizzle down rain. Riolu welled up with tears but then suddenly tripped-but this was a chance to recollect himself to think about what he was now: a Riolu.
And that led up to the picture.

I've always really wanted to draw Riolu. It's too cute to pass by. So I started sketching lots and nothing really came out right. I'll continue to sketch, but this is what I had, background-wise.

I also sort of made this as a gift for someone who adores Lucario's and Riolu's. As another fan of Lucario/Riolu, I had to draw a picture for her.
I had previously drawn a picture out of one of her videos she had made back when she was what? Ten, was it? ([link] )
