Description
INSTRUCTIONS, READ BEFORE ASKING QUESTIONSTool settings for Paintool Sai.
This watercolor brush I have called True Blend emits no colors on its own, gently and evenly blending two colors together. Highlighted Items in Blue are Necessary settings. Anything not selected/mentioned is optional features which will not affect the brush directly and can be changed per your preferences.
WRITTEN TUTORIAL FOR THE UNSURE (Necessary Settings)::
1.Right-Click on an Empty Tool Box and select 'Water Color Brush' from the drop-down menu. A New watercolor tool should be added in that square with default settings.
2.With the new tool selected, change the settings to the following:
-Min Size: 0%
-Density: 85%
-Blending: 100%
-Dilution: 100%
-Persistence: 67%
-Keep Opacity: OFF
-Smoothing Pressure: 100%
((In Advanced Settings Tab:
-Quality: 4 (Smoothest)
-Edge Hardness: 0%
-Min Density: 0%
-Max Dens Pressure: 100%
-Hard <-> Soft: 74%
-Press Density: ON
-Press Blend: ON
NOTE::: Make sure that "KEEP OPACITY" is checked OFF (empty box, see image). If it isn't, the brush will 'remember' the colors you last blended and will 'paint' with them like a very shitty paint brush tool. Defeating the purpose of a tool that only specializes in blending.
RULES::
This is a free tool. You do not need to credit me or mention me when you use it. Do whatever you want.
I made the image however and you may not take credit for the tutorial itself, but it can be used and shared around however you want. Should you copy-paste or spread this tutorial around please link-back to the original. You don't have to ask for permission ever.
