Description General:
Sobek, one of the largest and certainly most powerful APEX's on record is a rather easy creature to gain research from. Its lazy and sluggish lifestyle when not in combat allows the world around it to progress on without major disruption. Sobeks dominance over Carnivorsum carries on past the beaches of Isla De Titan and have shown visible alterations to the sister continent, Isla De Frio Brutal. With such a mighty status, Sobek has first dibs on anything it deems reasonable for it, doing as it pleases with little to no backlash. This could be because the other APEX's simply understand that when Sobek does this, its for the greater good. To say Sobek isnt without flows however would be a big mistake, as the beast clearly has its own demons to cope with. Its traumatic aggression when an adolescent have carried on with it through adulthood and will quickly become violent for reasons unknown.

Locations:
When not in these frenzies, Sobek can usually be observed laying around within the Isolated Morass, where it will bask upon fallen buildings, rocks, or sometimes partly submerged in the muck. This seems to be its favorite location, usually coming here to relax after a battle, stressful situation or when needing to cool off from the humid heat of the island. Other locations of notice are the shores of the Jade Abyss, where Sobek can be found casually cruising along the waves, possibly as a form of entertainment, or using it as a roadway to survey its territory. Although the Jade Abyss is part of its hunting grounds, Sobek will display a different posture and movement if on the hunt, allowing us to differentiate its thought process usually. One location it will circle occasionally is Sinners Gateway, where it will patrol in circles, like a shark stalking prey. Sobek will do this for days, usually when its in a fighting mood, looking to tear apart Cicatrix. While unable to actually enter the landmass, he will stay just out of the range of the locations toxic fumes, really pushing the limits of the Daemorhast lethality.

Hunting Behavior:
While the APEX's do not need to eat frequently, the rare instances that can be observed are truly a spectacle to witness. Amazingly, some of the larger resident species on the island have taken the role as primary food sources for the APEX's, able to satiate their mass and size with just one or two of their carcasses. What you would think is that such large organisms would cause complete collapse of the species, potentially causing extinction of the entire food chain, but this is miraculously not the case. The APEX's and the lower organisms seem to have a mutual benefit between eachother, supplying the other with the needed tools for survival. Sobek has a larger appetite then most other APEX's, as it exerts the most energy with its energy costly combat. When Sobek is on the hunt, he can be spotted within the EverRain or Jade Abyss, after particular species which supply it the required calories. Species such as the Oriasankka or Brachiohemoth are its favorite prey, and will pursuit them in true crocodilian fashion to catch them. When hunting Brachiohemoth, Sobek will actually chase them down like a terrestrial lizard, until quickly snatching up the chosen target. When hunting Oriasankka, Sobek will remain submerged under the surface, using its powerful tail to propel it upward into the air, snatching an unweary Orias in the process. The struggle ends quick, but the loud crunch of the jaws clamping shut is enough to weaken the insides of any viewer, with its sheer power behind the sound.

Aggressive Behavior:
When Sobek displays aggressive behaviors, it is usually caused because of an APEX's presence at the wrong place, wrong time. Sobek would never outright attack the other APEX's unless in a frenzied state. Sobek will start off with an intimidation display, puffing up its chest and dewlap. He would stand tall and slam his tail on the ground every few seconds, which would regularly be enough to send the message. For those few APEX's who are looking for a fight, Sobek will let out a loud hiss, which can rattle the insides of an APEX with its frequency. If none of this works to send aggressors the other way, It is then where Sobek will let loose and violently attack the target. The fight can be quick or dragged on, but it will always be bloody. Just one bite of his jaws is enough to break bones, leaving other APEX's at the mercy of Sobek's next move. Sobek will try to contain himself even during these engages, trying his best not to kill, but will not hesitate to deeply wound to drive the point across. As is known, when Sobek enters a frenzy, it can be a serious issue for everyone, no matter the size. Iron Sparta, the APEX's, even the ecosystem is in trouble when Sobek gets too enraged, as he cannot control himself or his actions for the time being. This paves the way for the unique symbiosis between Sobek and Athena. Athenas impressive mood-altering pheromones are the key to preventing the multitude of Sobeks rages. This is why she must always be able to subdue him, otherwise the consequences could be destructive.

Accociation:
Sobek is not very vocal to the other APEX's. Instead, his communication will be displayed through his posture. Sobek can indeed roar like thunder, but this is only when pissed off. Sobeks bond with other APEX's is strongest between few, such as Athena, Big Bull, Areos, and Colossteus. The bond he has with them is similar to "brothers" in war. They have to put their trust in each other because thats what will keep the Daemorhast at bay, and their homes safe. Despite this, Sobek will get into fights with them, but these are rare. If so, it may be because of a silly reason, or perhaps because of a frenzy incident. Despite Sobeks overpowered status among the other APEX's, they can amazingly put up a good fight against him, using their knowledge of Sobek's simple mind to outsmart him, sometimes even beating Sobek in these disputes. This is only because Sobek will usually get a grasp on the situation and willingly back down from the fight. If he were in a frenzied state however, Sobek is outright unstoppable and will not back off. Thankfully, the bond between these 5 is strong, as they are the center of their world. Sobeks feelings towards the outer-circled APEX's such as Acheilus or Seittaad is neutral, neither hating or liking them. A basic mutual understanding if you will. Sobek will fight them with no issue if they step out of line, as they have done in the past previously. There are very few APEX's Sobek outright despises, but they do exist. APEX's such as Cratus and Nejireta are good examples. Sobek doesnt take fondly to the idea of having his skull used as a trophy for some apes collection of skulls, so Sobek will viciously attack Cratus if he shows the slightest hint of aggression. The two will allways fight over nonsense, but it never comes down to them killing eachother, as they are both needed for a greater purpose. Nejireta on the other hand is a problem for everyone, and Sobek has no intent of keeping the wasp alive. If Nejireta is showing signs of being awake, Sobek will go on the great goose chase, hunting her down in a flurry to eliminate her. Sobek will also show this aggression and relentlessness towards APEX's like UrsiDae'Goth, Chimera, Massacull, and DeathRoll.
