While I understand that price is a touchy subject for many people, you could still have said that in a more respectful manner. "not gonna spend $250 for that" very much sounds like you're saying it's not worth anything. Which to you perhaps it isn't, but there are still quite a few people out there selling this quality of plush for this much and oftentimes more (and I have sold several for this price in the past). I have a journal post up from ages ago (sockfuzzy.deviantart.com/journ… that breaks down what I put into making a pony from materials cost to time, recorded to the hour, for a far simpler pony. I have modified my process a bit since then, but even using an embroidery machine doesn't save me much time given the increase in detail compared to those first ponies. Basically, at this price point I make just about minimum wage for my time, which I don't think is all that unfair. Could I sell them for less and sell a lot more? Certainly, but my free time is obscenely scarce, so when I do have time to make things to sell, I'd like to at least feel like it's worth it the effort.
