Description
...because as she says in "sweet and elite," Pinkie never leaves home without her party cannonPinkie is made of minky fabric with hand embroidered eyes, cutie marks, hair details, nostrils and mouth. She is filled with poly-fil, and has glass pellets in her hooves. She also has a plastic joint in her neck that allows her to turn her head. She is 11 inches tall (13 including her mane) and 8 1/2 inches long (12 with her tail).
Her cannon is 7 1/2 inches long, 7 1/2 inches wide, and about 4 1/2 inches tall. It is also made of minky and filled with poly-fil. I noticed after I finished the photo collage that I forgot the wick on the cannon, so I will be adding that on before I post her on Ebay
She is now up on Ebay: [link]
Pinkie Pie is (c) Hasbro. This is fanart.

hi, can i ask how you sewed the party cannon?
I've been trying to figure it out or 4 hours with no luck. I have the wheels done, but the cannon part is killing me.

This is very cool! If you don't mind my asking, how do you design these? I know I saw a computer program that handles it once; do you use that or is this natural/homegrown talent?

Everything was designed and created entirely by hand. I used a pen and 1/4 inch square grid paper and looked at screen shots to make the pattern. I'm hoping to get a combo sewing/embroidery machine someday, since I think that would make everything a lot easier, but for now even my normal sewing machine isn't working so I've been doing everything from the embroidered details to stitching everything together the old fashioned way

That makes it all the more impressive! I'm a sucker for hand-drawn and hand-stitched items. Computer work is great, and believe me, I know it's hard work too, but there's something special about an item done by hand, especially when it turns out that freaking good!
