I got Mario and Luigi Paper Jam last Tuesday and it's actually really good so far, the story just kinda sucks a lil because there basically is none, it's basically Luigi did a thing and then there's Luigi abuse throughout the whole game and hhh poor Weegee;-;It's still really good tbh.They don't exactly have a lot of variety between characters, though, but they do bring back a few characters from other games... like Bowser... and the Jr. Bowser... and his other seven neglected kids nobody ever remembers... yeah... those ones are my favorite β’~β’Oh hey, a Nabbit .<.

but yeah from what I've heard the Paper Mario games have not been quite as great as the old games as of late. And now they have that new Paper Mario game they announced called Color Splash.
And surprisingly fans have pretty low expectations for it. :c
Honestly I think it has to do with the lack of an interesting story and the serious lack of RPG battle mechanics. Personally I haven't played the old Paper Mario games but I can see why people like that format better though.Β

Like the game was pretty fun, it wasn't as long as any of the other games though, and it barely had any story other than Luigi found a book, Princesses get kidnapped, Bowser takes the book, Bowser gives back the book, end.
Srsly Nintendo? Honestly I expected more from a crossover, but reply it's not that surprising considering that Sticker Star was a game that happened ;v;
