A 1920's style night on the town (that will no doubt end with heists and hijinks)!

I've been on a 20's kick ever since the new year and here's another picture to prove it. Unlike my last sketch (www.deviantart.com/socksthemut… ) I wanted more colors on this one... but I also wanted to keep that old photograph look. So I was trying for some kind of an in between here and I think I was successful... hopefully anyway. I actually started coloring this one by hand too and I still might finish it that way (eventually, maybe) just so I can compare the two. I've really been into these "sketchy" pictures lately and can't decide which coloring style I like better. When I color this way I can keep the raw emotion (and messy lines) of the pencil sketch but it's also a real pain in my hand. I hate working with the mouse and, while this may not look like it'd take as much time as a traditionally colored picture, it usually ends up taking longer. I did about six layers just on the fur alone. So, at the end of the day, I often prefer this look but enjoy working with pencils more. Of course, what I love most of all is just sketching... Anyways! I'm rambling.

Karnage looks marvelous (of course he does and you better be agreeing) and Kit looks adorkable. I simply could not resist putting him in that silly outfit. XD
