Description Croco d'île

I tryed to combine words croco and isle to get word crocodile. I needed D between the words and in French de (of) can be written d' in a case where the next word starts with vowel. The inspiratons become from the Paris metropolitan area that is called Île-de-France. Well, croco d'île is that where I ended up. The pun inspired me to draw that picture and I wrote the text on it. Nevertheless, I haven't study French. So, It may not be linguistically correct. In fact, I don't even know that can a Frenchman call crocodile as croco, but I can't see why he couldn't. Anyway, the correct writing form might be 'le crocodile de l'île'. Nobody's yet said enything about the text. Well, I can't be sure about it, but if it's wrong and it starts to disturb, I'm able to cut it off, because there's so much space on top.

The text on top adds a lot to it. And the pun in French is spot on. It is actually pretty popular in French to jam word together in that fashion, as a pun, indeed.

I also like the style. Pretty neat touch to have the straw and the soda

Your style reminds me somewhat of the Shadoks, a French animated series that has a lot of absurd nonsense. [link]

Sorry it took me forever to make a comment ^_^

What the visual impact! Great thanks for mentioning The Shadoks. Unfortunately, I can't French, but luckily I found one made in English from Youtube. [link] . Now it seems there can be English subtitles somewhere. There's so much same in english and french that you may find the subjetc, but the extraordinary wisdom can be missed.

I'm glad to see this work in one of your collectons.
