This is a competition entry for =Lurking-Leanne for [link]I wanted to exaggerate and capture the more 'darker' side of Ace (Or Dreadzone version at least) This is a reference based on 'The Fallen Star' at about around chapter 9 through Phase two 'Life as an Exterminator'. (I have to admit, the end of chapter 9 really did get me. hehe) ^^ But yeah, also playing around with Photoshop has started to make it a lot easier to use now.
I am actually quite proud of this, it kind of makes me want play Ratchet Gladiator again!

Oh man, now I was truly surprised when I saw this from ya!
It has been a long time since I saw you posting much art, and I almost didn't expect that you'd join in on my contest too 
Your art is still awesome! And for a first time drawing Ace, this is freakin' excellent!

I have to admit, although I had never drawn Ace before, it was fun to try out drawing a character that had his own 'unique' style such as the shape of the jaw and hand shape etc, it was a good way for me to pay more attention to individual details to make the picture more accurate!

yeah, Ace is unique; indeed. I had serious trouble drawing him when I first tried in 2009
But yeah, you really did do a very good job ^^ thanks so much again! Good to see you draw more this year too!

Woah. Your style has defiantly changed since the last piece of digital art of yours I've seen! Looking at this makes me want to play Gladiator again too, it was an awesome game - can't wait for the HD version to come out later this year
