Here is another Bojack Horseman coloured pencil sketch for you. This is a scene from the episode Time's Arrow (season four, episode eleven), which deals with the life of Beatrice Horseman.

The scene shows Bojack's parents, Butterscotch and Beatrice, having one of their many bitter arguments in front of a young Bojack, often talking badly about him as if he's not there. This was very wounding to the young Bojack's confidence and self-esteem, where having a supportive and loving family life would have worked wonders. Such neglectful parenting from both of his parents does give some explanation as to why he ended up the way he became.
