Description
This is a sketch of an unfortunate fly that's about to be devoured by a venus fly trap. These are what's called carnivorous plants, which are plants that feed on animals to get their nutrients. The fly lands on the leaf, attracted by nectar secreted within the leaf jaws, which then snaps shut if the fly touches one of several filament within, trapping the hapless fly. Then the gruesome part is that the fly is digested alive by the plant secreting its digestive juices.
